Roobaru in Downtown Dubai is a culinary gem that exceeded my expectations in every way. The moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Our server, Manish, was particularly impressive with his polite demeanor and prompt service.
But the real star of the show was the food. Oh, the food! Each dish was expertly crafted with fresh ingredients and presented with flair. I was blown away by the flavors and textures of every bite. While I didn't try the Saag Burrata myself, I've heard rave reviews from fellow foodies who claim it's a game-changer. Based on the restaurant's track record, I have no doubt it's a must-try.
Some of the standout dishes that I did try included ¹ ² ³: Sharjah Sambusa: A flavorful and crispy delight that pairs perfectly with the restaurant's signature chutneys Thecha Wings: Spicy, smoky, and utterly addictive Paneer Makhani: Rich, creamy, and indulgent, with a perfect balance of spices House Daal (Black Daal): A revelation! Creamy, aromatic, and packed with depth Truffle Kulcha: A decadent treat that's sure to satisfy any bread lover's cravings
The menu offers an exciting blend of traditional Indian cuisine with modern twists, making it a great spot for adventurous foodies. With its cozy ambiance, exceptional service, and mouth-watering dishes, Roobaru is a must-visit destination in Dubai. Don't miss out on this incredible gem ⁴ ³ ⁵!

Critic – Roobaru is an ideal Indian dining restaurant located at the Downtown Dubai. They offer an array of contemporary delicacies inspired from different parts of India. The dining concept is more immersive in terms of the presentation with vibrant colours and high-quality ingredients have been used to meet the benchmarks set by other Indian diners.
Moreover, the portion sizes are generous which can be easily enjoyed by a family. My personal favourites had been Sharjah samosa, Seabass, Paneer Makhani and prawn curry to be enjoyed with cheese naan and Jeera Rice. Usually, the Indian gravies can be either enjoyed with naan or rice. This can be a personal choice depending upon the dietary preferences.
The mixology menu is well-defined also keeping in mind the restaurant is a family friendly dining concept. All the drinks have unique notes which makes one to go back in time and recollect something in memory. Here my personal favourites had been Gulabo, What A Melon and Purple Flight. Keep in mind the Purple Flight has very light notes because it is an iced tea-based drink. Overall, a wonderful dining experience to witness with your family and friend. Definitely, a great dining option to consider if you want to make someone...
Read moreThere are plenty of Indian cuisine restaurants in Dubai. The ones that stand out, are the restaurants that make an impact with their taste, decor and range. Roobaru has it all. Amazing dishes and delightful flavours that will please your tastebuds with their uniqueness.
The mocktails were really great. I liked the Happy Hormone (Dh 28) with flavours of Kokum and orange was super refreshing. I recommend the Papdi Smack (Dh 31) which sounds quirky but tastes really good and the Amchi Thecha Wings (Dh 52) which will quite literally blow your socks off with the zingy spice and peanut mixture it's slathered in.
Try the Paneer Makhani (Dh 63) a decadent curry with a giant piece of soft paneer swimming in it. The House Daal (Dh 35) is a must-try because you get daal makhani that is cooked for hours and is one of the best I've had in Dubai. The Mysore Lamb Shank (84) is a giant piece of leg cooked to fall-off-the-bone perfection. Both go really well with butter garlic naans.
To finish you can have a scrumptious Chom Chom (Dh 39) that has a wonderfully dense texture plated very differently from any other gulab jamun and kheer mix that I've had. Roobaru is elevated food and service without exorbitant rates. I'll definitely be going back soon. Highly...
