Located on the first floor of the Taj Hotel in Business Bay, MEDA is a delightful tapas place serving traditional and modern tapas.

The decor/ambiance is nice - inviting, open, and elegant. The staff was informed that this was a business introduction meeting so they found us seating that would allow for the appropriate level of privacy to conduct our business.

We decided to order shareable tapas.

Watermelon Salad - 9/10 - unique presentation, sweet watermelon sprinkled with crumbled feta and sliced almonds. Greek Tria - 4/10 - Taramasalata and Tzatziki were ok but the smoked eggplant was rather tasteless Spanish Mushroom Croquettes - 7/10 Italina Pizzetta - Truffle - 8/10

I sampled enough to want to come back again.

I rarely rate and comment on venues. At best, Meda Dubai at Taj Business Bay is a glorified lobby cafe with borrowed kitchen and chef from another Restaurent in the hotel. There’s no chef to care about the food served. We were a party of four, and our order came individually 5 minutes apart, and all orders arrived cold. I had to return my order twice and I did not want to send it back for a third time.

My recommendation to those impressed by online reviews and Taj glorification of the venue. Do not consider going.

My advice to the management, I am disappointed in your decision to host and glorify this venue in in your property. And please, do not allow influencers and marketers rate your venue on google reviews and other sites. It backfires on your management and...
