It makes me extremely happy to witness Dubai flourishing with unforgettable dining experiences. As the world moves away sitting nicely face-to-face and chewing in silence accompanied by outdated piano tunes, cheeky new entertainment is to the rescue. Miss Tess at Taj Hotel is that kind of place: immerse yourself in street style Asian cuisine at its tastiest, funniest and brightest. Walk-ins are most welcome for example. Booking a table is suggested for bigger groups or for Korean BBQ. Being a girl from the boring generation, I called to reserve a wonderful spot on the terrace facing the Burj. The appearance of Miss Tess is inspired by the true story of an Asian woman who grew up learning to cook the delicacies of her continent and sharing her skills and knowledge with the loved ones. Under its roof Miss Tess unites the most common and exotic options from Vietnam, Taiwan, Japan, China, Korea, Indonesia and Thailand (thought I spotted a few Malay specialities too). Strolling through Miss Tess is a pleasure. The open space is visually divided into zones representing different cultures, and my eyes jumped from one fun detail to another. Think delicate Japanese partitions, Chinese lamps, Korean beauty magazines, wisdom posters and so much much more to discover for yourself. I randomly walked into some local warriors who made my night to take a crazier turn. Turns out, every Monday Miss Tess challenges the brave and foodies to a one-of-a-kind hot noodle challenge. Every participant is obliged to sign a form and commit to strict rules, which involve limitation in time, strategies, beverages and even napkins. The challenge starts with the arrival of the team, who cheer, chant, observe and judge, and, obviously the noodles. The whole place turns upside down during the next twenty minute and it’s a great pleasure to watch faces of walking guests trying to figure out what’s going on. The challenge is challenge indeed. A big fan of Ting Irie’s burning hot off-menu wings, I could barely handle a few bites of Miss Tess’s noodles. The secret sauce consists of special chillies, dried chillies and fresh chillies plus something super mega spicy that made me sob. Please do not let the few veggies on the top fool you. This dish is hot hot hot. Compete only if you are physically and spiritually fit. No exception. Once done with the challenge (lost by me), do dig into other bits and bites as everything on the menu is longing for attention and review. No matter what you choose or where you sit, I promise you won’t forget Miss Tess until the next visit.

Bez Nazari Review 🔍: Review of After Dark Brunch at Miss Tess, Taj Hotel: If you're searching for the ultimate weekend party in Dubai, look no further than the After Dark Brunch at Miss Tess in the Taj Hotel, powered by Secret Parties. This event, held every Saturday night from 7 PM to 10:30 PM, offers an unforgettable experience that combines excellent food, diverse drinks, and non-stop entertainment. **Packages and Drinks:** Miss Tess provides three brunch packages: - Soft beverages - House beverages - Bubbly drinks We opted for the house beverage package, which was well worth it. The variety of drinks is impressive, including options like red and white wine, beer, whiskey, vodka, gin, and special cocktails. The standout feature was the enthusiastic hosts, who not only ensured our glasses were never empty but also encouraged us to indulge in both food and drinks with their generous and warm hospitality. **Entertainment:** The entertainment at Miss Tess is on another level. Every minute brought something new and exciting: cool dancers, a DJ, singers, a samurai act, Chinese dance performances, and even some amusing and funny dances. The energy is contagious, making it impossible not to join in the fun. **Food:** The dining experience is equally remarkable. The menu features a wide array of starters, mains, and desserts, all served in a sharing style that enhances the communal atmosphere. Every dish we tried was delicious and well-presented. **Atmosphere:** With a fantastic view of the downtown Dubai skyline, the ambiance at Miss Tess is both vibrant and inviting. The free valet parking adds a touch of convenience, allowing you to focus entirely on having a great time. **Overall Experience:** After Dark Brunch at Miss Tess is a must-go experience for both locals and tourists. It promises a perfect blend of fun, food, and festivity, making it a top choice for anyone looking to enjoy a night out in Dubai. Whether you're with family or friends, you're guaranteed to have an amazing time. Don't miss out on this extraordinary brunch!

One of my friends was really excited to visit the place, so we joined for the ladies night. My two friends went for the package. While I went for al carte as the their package was less than creative when it came to no-alcoholic options. They truly enjoyed their drinks the peony was one of their favourites. The al carte non-alcoholic options are really good , I truly enjoyed the Eden one which supposed to be a mix of fresh juices as per the waitress. It was well balance with right amount of acidity, there was an umami after taste which was just pleasant. Food wise I went for the Pad Thai chicken which was tasty, however, the noodle was slightly over cooked and the portion was quiet disappointing. The chicken dumplings on the ladies night menu as per my friends taste nothing like chicken more like fish, unless the waitress gave wrong information on the dish? Almost everything on the Al carte menu is spicey so if you don't take spicey food just ask for assistance, however, in this regard our waitress was the least helpful as she kept referring to her own palate which we found odd. The live music is amazing, especially if you're celebrating a birthday or an anniversary the artist makes it special quiet frankly that was definitely the highlight of the night. The staff on the floor is not very polite and do not respond to requests in a professional way.It took so long to order and once you get someone they would ask you wait then go on to stand behind you and probably forget to return and assist. For those that want to take pictures kindly request from someone that is actually interested in going the extra mile otherwise you'll be disappointed at the result. Understandably it's not their job ,but disappointing we were not motivated express our gratitude due to some of these minor issues as it spoiled our reunion.

I have come to miss Tess numerous times before their renovations and always had a good experience however my most recent visit was absolutely terrible and completely shocking purely because of the disgusting actions of the manager. I hosted a 12 person bday dinner and despite having preordered most of the food I found myself chasing the staff to bring out what was ordered and had to remind them numerous times that more food was left to come out after being told twice that they served everything. Furthermore food was being served incorrectly with vegetarian eaters being brought non vegetarian food and such. upon taking it up with the manager, he brushed it aside and did not properly listen but rather made excuses. another guest followed up with the manager not to my knowing and was shocked to hear extremely disrespectful and rude comments made about me, my family and my circle. unfortunately I only found out about what was said after paying the bill and leaving, because my friend did not want to spoil the night further by telling me then and there, however upon hearing after, I called the manager and told him that what he has done is extremely disrespectful rude and despicable and he should not be working in this industry if this is the attitude he has towards customers and I explained how this is not the standard I expected from a restaurant that my circle has so much history with. And shockingly he made excuses saying “the restaurant is full I’m busy, listen such loud music” when we were the last people to leave and the restaurant was empty as well as the simple fact that an unsatisfied customer has called the manager and he spoke over me and hung up mid conversation not once but even after calling again. this is the most horrible experience I have ever had at any restaurant in dubai and I have never been this disrespected and embarrassed in my life. I strongly believe that this manager should not be working at this restaurant or any restaurant as even a plate cleaner given his lack of accountability, extremely foul mouth and simple unintelligence. Absolutely shocking, I am disgusted. The food was still great and the chef performed a great magic show and even the other staff...
