Mitsu-Ya Dubai — Restaurant in Dubai

My friend and I are huge fans of ramen, and make it a point to try a bowl in every reputable restaurant we find. Of course, when we saw Mitsuya offered nine types, we were encouraged to visit.

The staff in Mitsuya are friendly and attentive, the ambience is a little casual but welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. So far, so good.

Now, for the food. The starters and sides we were served were of excellent quality and full of authentic Japanese flavors and ingredients. Unfortunately, the ramen had neither of these traits, which left us totally unsatisfied. The broth lacked richness and a depth of flavor, while the chicken chashu tasted as if it was just boiled meat. To their credit, the noodles and ajitsuke tamago were adequate.

While I would definitely come back for the izakaya experience and their good service, our search for Dubai's best ramen...

Mitsu-Ya Dubai is a low key Japanese restaurant in the Ritz Carlton DIFC. You might even miss it because of the parties and noise going elsewhere in the hotel.

I’m actually so upset that I stumbled by it on my last evening…otherwise I would have came here every night! They have a nice mix of staff (also some from Japan, awesome!) and the vibe and ambience is super chill. A standout was the ramen, but also their awesome sake collection! We spent the majority of the evening celebrating a successful business trip by having copious amounts of SHO-UNE. For Dubai, considering the location and the service plus quality of the food and drinks, I would say the price is...

I was extremely happy to find this hidden Gem here in Dubai and will deff be visiting more often :)

Food: the restaurant has a huge selection of various Japanese cuisines,we ordered the sushi and loved each one we tried, additionally we tried the chef recommended ramen and loved the broth

Location: perfectly located in the ground floor next to DIFC mall, we parked at the mall and walked to the restaurant

Service: everyone was very nice and helpful at the restaurant

Overall, I think the restaurant is one of the best Japanese restaurants we have here in dubai and can’t wait to go back and try...
