Moti Mahal — Restaurant in Dubai

I visited Moti Mahal at Bay Avenue Mall in business bay with a friend on June 11th at 3 PM for lunch, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired.

Upon placing our order, we inquired with our server, Harshit, about fresh juice options. He informed us that only orange juice was available. The juice was served promptly, but upon tasting it, we strongly suspected it was not freshly squeezed. When we questioned Harshit, he repeatedly assured us it was fresh. However, the taste was unmistakably similar to a tetra pack or canned juice.

To verify, I asked to be taken to the kitchen. Harshit initially agreed, but just as we approached the kitchen, he admitted the juice was not fresh and apologized. This admission was deeply disappointing and felt like a breach of trust. The manager then attempted to justify the situation by claiming the juice had been squeezed in the morning—an explanation that only added to our frustration.

Despite this, we stayed as our starters had already been served. The mutton and chicken starters were good, but the main course was underwhelming. We had specifically requested spicy gravy, but were served a sweet version instead. By this point, the overall experience had soured, and we were eager to leave.

Additionally, the pricing does not reflect the quality of food or service. The dishes are overpriced, and the lack of transparency and accountability was disappointing.

⭐️I had an amazing dining experience at Moti Mahal Restaurant located at Bay Avenue Dubai Business bay. 😍The restaurant has a beautiful ambience and cozy seating. 🍗They are famous as pioneers and inventors of Butter Chicken and Daal Makhni both of which are their specialties. We absolutely loved their Butter Chicken, Daal Makhni and Chicken malai Boti. 🍖We also tried their Mutton biryani and Mutton Roghan Josh both were so tender and mouthwateringly delicious. 🍤I’ll also highly recommend Prawn tandoori, Seekh Kebab and Burrah Kebab all of which are the best in Dubai. 🔹They have a big kitchen with different chefs preparing fresh tasty food. 🍧Do try their super delicious desserts like Ras Malai, Gulab Jamun and Gajars halwa as they are fantastic! ⭐️A five star experience at most affordable price.
