Food Taste / Freshness of Ingredients / Food Preparation: My wife and I dined here twice already and recently tried a delivery order and we were both amazed on each occasion with how delicious rolls are in this sushi place. This is so far the best tasting sushi rolls I've had the pleasure of experiencing here in Dubai. I could taste that the ingredients are fresh. Anyone can learn how to make sushi. But you know that the sushi is prepared by an expert when there's taste separation of its ingredients in your mouth as you enjoy its taste and texture. We ordered "Salmon Cheesy", "Philadelphia Salmon", "Salmon Truffle" and "Salmon Aburi". Bring someone special here and order these superstars and you'll thank me later. We also tried their Chicken Tonkatsu Curry but the Japanese food place in Dubai Marina Mall does it better.
Customer Service: Staff here are super accommodating, attentive and knowledgeable in what they do. Our orders got served quicker than in other places we've been to. Shout out to Sushi Buzz servers and chefs - Angel, Liza, Sofia, Henzu, Robert, Basher, George and Jovit.
Ambience of the Place: We only come to this place at night, so I can't really comment on how it is here during daytime. But on evenings, the place is dim-lit with good music on - good for dates if the focus is on food. They have tables and chairs outside but that's only good for winter time. It's summer now so we stayed indoors and the place inside is really small. Just a few tables, a divider and the kitchen on the other side.
Price: Affordable than most known sushi places here in Dubai particularly in JLT and Marina area. That said, the deliciousness you will experience far outweighs that affordable price. Taste so good, you'd want to pay more.

Read moreOrdered from chatfood, got a call from Arlene 25 minutes later stating they didn't have two of the items (sashimi being one of them (mind you it's a sushi restaurant)) I've ordered and suggesting I'd cancel my order, as it was late and I've already been waiting that long I said I wanted the available items and they could refund the items missing, the person agreed and hanged up.
Nearly 20 minutes later I get another call from Jen saying again that the items were missing and asking me what was the price of the items that were missing! How ridiculous can this be?! I obviously was fed up at this point and asked her to cancel the whole order and just give the money back. Was asked for my bank account number (still trying to understand why) and after my husband asked to talk to someone who actually understood how to refund the money the person on the other side said ok and hanged up! And then she wouldn't pick up the phone. Unprofessional, rude and disrespectful behavior!!!
Meanwhile the order was sent anyway!
After a few attempts we got a call back from the number available on chatfood and the lady on the phone agreed to send a message to my husband through WhatsApp to exchange bank information to inform their financial department to proceed with the refund tomorrow. Had to text them to get a message, requesting an e-mail! No e-mail was sent so far but if no action taken we'll file a complain to the appropriate department!

Read moreThe one star is not for the food, the food is fine, just the way they operate business. We went in and they asked us to scan the QR code on the table to order food. We have Entertainer app with 25% off total bill so we ordered according to the discounted price, within our budget. When they served the sushi, the waitress got the sushi touched by the decoration on the table (which has lots of dust on it) and didn't even notice a single bit. But the main problem was the bill. They told us there is no 25% off bill from Entertainer app because their menu was already discounted. There is nothing mentioned on the menu, nor was there anyone told us about this. My partner tried to negotiate with them and tell them that this is a very bad and dishonest way to operate their business and that they will lose customers. After repeating the same content with 3 staff (with manager the last one), they just showed us that they don't care if we would return or not, and that they kept insisting we can either pay without Entertainer app with the "discounted menu" or we can pay the much higher price in the menu on Entertainer app and let us have 25% off.
