Came to spend the day by the pool and was greeted by a lovely lady called Rachel who could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately, however, the rest of the experience was just disappointing. -No music or atmosphere, all we could hear was the fun coming from the Five Palm. The attitude from the pool bar staff was just appalling. Unwilling to help, answer questions or simply smile when greeting customers. I was asked to swim a cross a pool to collect (and swim back with) a payment receipt despite wearing my wrist band as proof. I really couldn’t understand why this was necessary, but if it was needed for some special reason of-course I would be happy to help. What I didn’t expect was the appalling attitude and manner in which my self and my husband were spoken to - it was completely unnecessary and unprofessional to say the least. When asking any male waiter for help, (to be fair, all the female staff were very nice, just unfortunate that there were only a couple) they acted as if we were a hassle or inconvenience. Sometimes walking away whilst in the middle of speaking to them. We weren’t told it was non smoking when paying for the pool day pass. I respect the rule but would have reconsidered my choice once I realised how far I would walk to smoke and also the fact I would need to get changed each time as it’s on an open area. Food: I ordered the Mediterranean wrap. The oil and grease dripped from it but if you don’t have a light stomach then I’m sure you would enjoy it. I asked to take it home as I couldn’t eat it without my medication. The waiter refused to pack it for me and walked away. I’m sure he could have helped. Honestly, I would not recommend coming here unless you have absolutely nowhere to go. For 500dhs you can get such a better experience, service and food. This does not reflect the Hilton values or the...
Read moreAll good from me. We went on a pool and beach day rather than as a Hilton hotel guest. We received the vouchers to spend on F&B which was all good, only minor set back we had was that Jones the Grocer didn’t accept them for their daily lunchtime menu which we only found out after eating- never mind but worth remembering. Later we tried to go up to the roof bar where we were turned away on a dress code violation (disgraceful beachwear 😂) we went to McGettigans after that because the only requirement they have to serve you is a pulse. Trying to redeem the vouchers again was interesting because it’s as if they’ve never seen one before and after much explaining it was agreed it could only be on full price menu Which is absolutely fine. 3 Magners, 3 absolute and Diet Coke plus garlic bread and nachos 399 out of the 400 in vouchers-Boom...
Read moreI actually came with my wife for the day pass, Ms. Rachel was the friendliest she could be and the other pool staff as well. However, I was at the bar and wanted to order 2 pinacoladas, then Mr. Nikhil asked me to swim out get the paper of the payment and get in the pool again holding the receipt and swim back to the bar to show him for prove! Instead of asking me where he can find the paper and get it from our table. I was actually very shocked of the attitude and rudeness of the request! I felt that am not in the Hilton but some 1-2 stars hotel. I never left the bar though, and asked him to go get it as am not gonna move from the bar, it inconveniences me as a guest who paid 500 for 2hrs stay by a hotel pool. I could have went to kokobay, surf club or February 30 and even maybe pay less and be treated well. It’s really...
