Mowsem — Restaurant in Dubai

We tried this place for a Christmas brunch this year. While the selection of food and ambience were great! The Service was a bit chaotic and left a lot to be desired. At a brunch buffet such as this, you could of course enjoy the big spread and only thing you need to be served is drinks. Every time we ordered anything, it took ages to come , and we had to keep reminding the staff. Towards the end they took our orders for some coffee and martini espressos 45 mins before last orders. They never came, we kept being promised they were on their way and in the end we were told that they couldn’t serve that anymore as brunch time was over. To top it all, our server asked us to review her ?! It did feel like they were understaffed or overwhelmed with a busy crowd and being the season, they should have been more organised. The food was delicious and varied and the staff deliver over and above on service - special shout out to Hanshini who always welcomed my mum and I with a smile on her face at the front desk of the restaurant and made us feel welcome especially at breakfast. Also, the lovely Ruksar who ensured we and others in the hotel were getting the best quality service whilst dining. And Pier who served us on the first night who set the high standards, serving with love - she is a gem! I can truly say the food was divine and plentiful. They have themed dinner nights - my mum's favourite was "Arabian night" which they decorated with camels around whilst I loved the "Far East" night which had all the favourites - Thai curry, bao buns, noodles, sushi and so much more! Celebrated our anniversary in Mowsem. The place was really nice - relaxing ambiance and clean. The selection of the salad was amazing, I could eat it everyday. My husband who isn't a fan of veggies loved all their salad. The main course had a fair selection of meat, and everything tasted great. They also have a wide selection of desserts, it was a haven for sweet tooth.

The customer service was superb. They made sure that your needs are taken cared of. I would love to give a big shout out to Ropelyn and the team that assisted us that day. They made sure to make us feel the hilton 5-star service ❤️ We were also surpirsed and touched for the anniversary cake that was served - we appreciated how they waited for the perfect time to serve it to us.
