Bev's Bistro — Restaurant in Aberdeen City

If I could give 7 Stars I would.

Me and my now Wife got Bev and Allan to do our catering for our WEDDING. At first we were going to have it at the bistro but along came lockdown 2 for Aberdeen so we held it at our garden.

Bev was so flexible it amazed us. she quickly changed the menu to suit our plans for the garden, She still made all the food we required and done a total of 3 runs to garden to make sure all our food was hot and perfect for all of us. Our wedding cake was also done by Bev and by the next day we had no cake left as everyone was wanting 3rds and 4ths it was that good.

we had for nibble:

sausage rolls, strawberry soup, dipping bread and quiche.

Starter, pizza crumpets and jacket potato soup

main,

chicken and beef with onion potatoes carrots and green peas

desert,

Bevs signature Freshly sourced Strawberry Tarts and stick toffee pudding with sticky toffee sauce and ice cream.

I cannot recommend Bev highly enough for her cakes, food or her services.

While on a trip from Ireland wedding dress shopping with my sister we booked a table here for lunch. My daughter and I had Soup of the day with a sandwich, homemade cream of chicken soup, wow it was amazing my daughter who never tries anything different absolutely loved it. Compliments to the chief who even gave me the recipe to make it at home which I have done already 😊 Unfortunately for me the cakes are that amazing they had all sold out before we got there so now I'm looking forward to my sisters wedding to sample Bev's baking, no doubt on the next dress fitting trip we will be returning here for lunch. Went here for works day out in March. Afternoon tea yummy but strange set up with no tea and coffee offered, when advertised as afternoon tea - have to pay extra which is poor considering we had paid a lot of money. Was not told this over the phone when booking or would have booked elsewhere. When asked owner for tea and coffee, she said cannot afford to offer this due to cost of living crisis. Food also cling filmed which I felt was not a good look at all. Very expensive per person for what you get, can get much better elsewhere. No option to play our own music either, which would create a better atmosphere inside the cafe....
