The Glentanar Bar — Restaurant in Aberdeen City

My niece booked a table for 3pm Saturday for food and drinks, booking was excepted.when we arrived couldn’t find our table so asked a member of staff who got the manager. We were told booking had been cancelled that morning which was not true. We managed to get a seat thanks to two young gentlemen who gave up there table for us. When time came to order food although limited choice ordered hot dogs, can only describe it as disgusting three out of four thought same.place very noisy and so packed people almost sitting on your shoulder as you eat .wouldn't recommend...

Brilliant little wee bar in the city centre. The staff are very welcoming and friendly towards its punters. I love to come here on a Saturday afternoon to hear the laughs from Andy and the other regulars. Cracking pint of Tennants you get here too!

PS Glentanar is a big believer in supporting local businesses in Aberdeen, hence why I choose to come here because it's independently run, and it's not owned by another company like Greene king etc which most pubs in Aberdeen are, which is draining the life out of these pubs sadly.

Paid a visit to The Pig’s Wings at The Glentanar Bar as part of the food firms residency at the bar. The food was really good - especially the Boar B-Que sub, not to mention the Hotwurst - however this hot dog is pretty spicy!!
