Smashburger — Restaurant in Bath

Unbelievably poor experience. Was in Bath for a weekend so despite being next door to a Burger King and opposite McDonald's where you can get a meal for less than the cost of a burger from this place, we thought we'd treat ourselves. A simple order - 2 burgers, large fries, 2 shakes. I was first handed my takeaway bag with half the order - missing a shake and the fries. This was then rushed and shoved in the bag. Got back to the hotel to discover the burger with added bacon despite showing "bacon" on the wrapper and paying extra for it as an added topping had none whatsoever. The fries were also plain and not smash as ordered/paid for. Called to tell them the order was wrong and I'd be going back for what I ordered. Was told it would be ready by the time I arrived, and they would throw in some churros as an apology. Nope. They forgot to send it to the kitchen. Another 15 minute wait, I finally got the burger. Opened it to the smallest piece of bacon you've seen. About half the size of my little finger. Should've taken a photo but was too annoyed. Asked the manager if he was taking the mick. He started yelling at the kitchen staff making a seen. Really unprofessional and poorly run. He then apologised to me saying they were busy...the place was empty! Oh, and apparently they had run out of churros so he gave me extra fries I didn't want which was clearly him clearing out the leftovers as it was after closing time by this point. Considering what they charge, the service was very poor, and after being messed around it wasn't even that great. Burgers were very salty, and my food had gotten cold whilst trying to get the mistakes corrected. In hindsight I should've got a full refund and spent half the money on the correct order elsewhere. I'd hope this was all a one off but I definitely...

I ordered a veggie burger, and both mine and my partner's were delicious! The problem was the service.. My partner's order a lemonade, this girl serving brought it without a glass (but maybe this is normal here, serving bottle without glass! can't understand tho). My drink I kept waiting for it all the time, my partner's already finished is food and I was still waiting for my drink to start to eat my own burger. I had to stand up and look for the girl, when my surprise, I found all staff talking and relaxing, I asked for my drink to the girl and she replied with no worries and saying it was coming. She passed through me to the milkshake area, I went back to my table shocked, then she came with the milkshake and an extra glass with the rests of the milkshake ??, and not even a "sorry"... Before we left I decided to call the manager to tell about the situation, this woman asked if I wanted the money back and said sorry, but it was okay. Before I left I looked back and I see this woman (the manager itself) with the girl that was serving and other girl from kitchen I guess, all them smiling... Can't understand where is the assertiveness and education of people nowadays specially from young people working... It's sad that there's no taking serious about serving people, serving good and having a respectful behaviour amongst each others. I worked many years in restoration, I came from Portugal, and I never saw such behaviours like I see here in London. Overall, I will not go back to this restaurant. Serving people good is everything. The environment was uncomfortable most probably because of the experience with the service, and the music was too loud... My 2stars go only because of the taste of the burgers, it was really delicious! I went on 17th...

We order from smashburger last night as normally they are pretty reliable for food quality what I got on this occasion was pretty much a joke. I set up the order on deliveroo after sending the order I realized that I had sent the order to the wrong address I tried to ring the delivery driver when he departed but he didn't answer. A few he phoned me on arrival to say he had my order I told him it had gone to the wrong address but we were already on route lucky the it was my home address and it was only a couple of minutes from my friends house, so me and my wife went and got the food, up to this point having the food delivered to the wrong address is on me, so a few moments later we returned to our friends house only to see a large portion of our order is missing I phone the driver he tell me he is now dropping off the food at my home address so me and my wife set off again to our home address to pick up the rest of our missing order even after telling the deliveroo driver it's the wrong address. So we get the rest of our food and open it up to eat everything is dead cold my wife had and I had ordered bbq chicken burgers along with a couple of my our friends to say the least it looked like someone had just touched the food with the sauce, images will follow along with that we order pickle fries and some smash fries these were dead cold and again it seemed like the fries had just had it's metaphorical toe dipped into any seasoning. Overall the standard of food was really not up to scratch on this occasion as I have said I have order from smash burger before it never usually that hot when it gets here but it pretty normally good food and when you are dropping over £100 on food you kind of expect some...
