This place looked so promising last time we visited for drinks, we thought this time to sample the gorgeous looking food. Oh dear.... 🙁 Service was average - only 1 on the bar that had to run the drinks also. Table was uncleared and sticky so I cleaned it myself as staff were thin on the ground. Shared nachos looked the part but chips were stale. Mushrooms were so over cooked a fork wouldn't go through them. Chips were the frozen kind 😔 But in all fairness, the Cumberland sausage small plate was tasty and well cooked. So I suppose it was OK, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Nice convenient pub. Good but not huge selection of beers. There is a beer garden at the back, hovewer this could do with a bit more green and plants as it's quite bare. Food menu is limited and there is a lack of healthy choices. A diner at my table asked for a side salad and she was refused as apparently they don't serve side salads. I ordered a chicken and bacon salad without bacon which was nice. Overall a nice experience but not great. COVID 19: staff didn't wear masks. Track and trace, floor signage and one way system was present.

We went here for Sunday roast which was very tasty. Once the food was ordered which you do at the bar we didnt have to wait very long. Remember your table number for when you go to order your food. The football was being showed on the screens, which wasn't a problem to us, but if you don't have any interest in football this may not be the right place for you. Although there was a quieter area to sit, and there is also a garden to sit in. Excellent service, friendly staff and great food, I would recommend this pub for a Sunday roast.

Very busy place to visit at weekends hard to Get a table but when you do you can have a great portion of food for your money I've tried alot from the menu and all been fab! No-one under 18 can come without adult supervision so 17 year olds have been asked to leave when they want to eat which is a little sly! But i guess if that's the rules?? UPDATE 🤪🤪🤪 had to change my starts ☹️ disappointing breakfast is none existent here ! Turned up for the big breakfast and was told none was available!!! What’s happening????

Had a very enjoyable lunch there. The staff whom I interacted with ,Harvey and Zoe, were efficient and very helpful and made choosing what to eat from a huge menu so much easier. The prices were more reasonable than any pubs or restaurants I ate at prior .While everything was good the standout was the beef pie of the day .Huge puff pasty crust and yummy insides. The mash, though, was disappointing should have gotten the chips Would definitely go back ther if I was staying longer
