I'm afraid my experience wasn't good at all. I thought it was a bit smelly and that could have been because the cushions and carpets were very grubby. We stayed anyway because my friend wanted an all day breakfast. I asked for a latte. When it came it was luke warm and not very full. I asked the barman if it could be heated up. He was perfectly pleasant but just topped it up with some hot milk. This just made it more milky and a tad warmer. I just drank it quickly and didn't make a fuss. The breakfast wasn't great. The eggs were overcooked and neither of us liked the sausages. When we ordered my friend asked if it came with toast. The barman said "I should think so." It didn't. We came in at 4pm with a table booked at 6pm down the road, had a drink, decided to stay until our table was booked and then came back after a little walk around the cocktail bars after our meal because there was just no better welcoming atmosphere throughout the whole of bath! We were charged £15.20 for 1 pint of Larger and a medium house wine with lemonade dash. The charge for the lemonade was £1.40. These prices are ridiculous. We hear all the time of pubs closing around the country. With this sort of excessive charging, I'm not surprised pubs are closing. If you keep taking customers for granted then you will not have any. We bought the same drinks from another pub in Bath city centre, they cost £9.40.
