Truly some of the best pies I've ever had! The Steak and Blue is my favourite and I can't seem to convince myself to try anything else - but friends and family I've gone with always rave about their choices as well. This pub doesn't accept reservations, which can make it tricky to plan on a busy weekend. On the other hand, it tends to mean you're bound to get lucky enough to snag a seat if you hang around a bit. A good selection of cask ales and local ciders available. Seating can be very cramped when it gets busy. I find the atmosphere cosy and jovial, but it may prove a bit difficult to navigate for anyone who utilizes a wheelchair. Overall a well priced and delicious meal in a good environment. I always make a point to stop in when I'm in Bath.

Lovely pub with a lot of different areas and cosy spaces inside as well as outside seating. I visited early morning for breakfast, so it was naturally very quiet. I went for the large English breakfast, which was as described very large, very well cooked with excellent quality ingredients, probably the best breakfast I have had in Bath and at £14.50 good value. Only grumble would be, although it was well presented on the plate, it's hard to eat off such a small dish. Lovely pub definitely worth a visit, looked like a good lunch menu, and they clearly use quality ingredients. Good selection of beers on tap It's just a few yards from Queens Square

Amazing food. Great cozy atmosphere. They have small tables outside, and seating throughout the building-3 floors. Complete with art gallery (throughout) and a library (3rd floor). Pick a seat(note table number), select your food, and go pay. Reasonable prices on all the food. Kids menu is available. You carry drinks back to your table. Food is delivered to your table. They have their own brews on tap- flight is available for about 13£. Their mascot is a charming raven. Merch is available at the downstairs bars, just ask. All glassware is for sale, posters and buttons- very affordable ranging from 1£ to about 8£ or 10£.

My wife and I were in Bath traveling when I asked the security guard at the Roman Baths where he would go to dinner. He recommended The Raven and specifically told me to order the pie. We were not disappointed! My wife got the pie and I ordered the stew. I was thrown off by the mint used in the peas but the food and beer was phenomenal. My wife very much enjoyed sitting upstairs in the library but the atmosphere downstairs was lively and friendly with good conversations happening between old and new friends. We ordered a flight of brew to sample between the two of us and I recommend you do too!

It's a weekend away in Bristol and a day trip to Bath !! Bitterly cold and sleeting we have done our retail therapy and now to get in the warm and enjoy a pint and a pie and chips. Nice choice of real ales ( none particularly to my taste ) and very expensive mulled wine ! Nice atmosphere but not particularly warm we spent a pleasant late afternoon and enjoyed the pie and chips....and a choice of gravy. Very popular pub and was packed throughout our time there. Good bar staff, very helpful and friendly...

I was recommended to go here and it was great! We went at 5:30 on a Thursday evening and it was busy, but not full. It filled up later. We were in the upstairs bar which was a bit snug, but still great. There was a limited gluten free menu, so my wife was catered for. But only one of two options were available. Staff were great, plenty of them and they were very accommodating. Food was first rate! Good portion size, good quality. Beer was first rate. A good selection of great beer. Definitely going back!
