A great Italian restaurant in the heart of Bath. There is plenty of outdoor seating, as well as indoor. Upon arrival, we were asked if we had any allergens that the team should be aware of, which gave us a really good impression as no other restaurant had done this. The food was lovely! We ordered the Meatballs starters, as well as the Calamari, which were both cooked perfectly and arrived in good order. Some of the best food we have had. We both ordered the pepperoni pizza, though I requested chicken instead of the mushrooms, which came as expected and without issue. The pizza was cooked well and was hot throughout. You are provided with a pizza roll cutter, so you can cut it to the size you prefer. The crust around is one of the better ones, crispy but also soft inside, and not burned or charred, like many of the other restaurants! The only downsides are that we were sat indoors as requested, but right by the bar. Would have been lovely to sit further in, where there was more of an ambience, and probably less clanking of glasses. The staff were friendly and took our orders, and delivered our food just fine, but I felt that there wasn't much in the way of coordination between the floor staff and the bar & kitchen. Food and drinks could sit for 5-10 minutes before someone realised that they were in need of being provided. There is an optional service tip (which does go to your waiter/waitress) for £6.99 but you can change this amount of opt out completely. All in all, I would most certainly go back for the excellent food, and just ask to sit away from the bar next time!

Visited on a Thursday lunchtime, and the place was empty apart from one couple. Waited at the sign and was then greeted with a "can I help you? Rather made me feel like she thought I was a workman using the wrong door. I was shown to a nice table in the window which was nice and the restaurant has nice decor. After a few minutes, my order was taken, I went for the mushroom risotto, which was ok but nothing special. The server brought my meal and asked if I would like cheese or condiments. I said cheese. She promptly went off and did something else and forgot my cheese. She quickly came back to ask if everything was OK with the meal before I really had a chance to try it. The same server quickly removed my plate when I finished and asked if I would like the dessert menu. She promptly went off and did something before eventually bringing the menu. I decided I didn't really appreciate the service or atmosphere, so I decided to go to Creams for my dessert where the service is better. It was my first time in Zizzi, and I see no reason to return.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently dined at Zizi's and had the pleasure of being served by Erin, and I must say, she made our experience truly unforgettable! From the moment we walked in, Erin greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she provided excellent recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. Throughout our meal, Erin was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our drinks were always filled and that we had everything we needed. Her friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm for the food and atmosphere at Zizi's really enhanced our dining experience. Not only was the food delicious, but Erin's exceptional service is what will bring us back time and time again. Thank you, Erin, for making our visit so special! Highly recommend Zizi's for anyone looking for great food and stellar service!

Tried to eat in at Zizzi's tonight but left very disappointed. We were seated quickly but were stuffed uncomfortably close between two other tables. The front of house staff were otherwise all lovely and very helpful. We ordered the pesto ravioli and the beef rago but it wasn't good at all. My partner had the pesto pasta which she said was okay, if quite small for the price (£15.50 for 6 pieces).

The ragu was terrible. It was expensive, being over £18 for a small bowl of pasta with barely any meat, it arrived cold and was lacking in any real flavour. I complained about my meal and the waitress said she'd fix it for me. It came back only a few minutes later and was searing hot and very gummy. They had claimed the dish was put "back in the oven" which makes no sense. I'd be very surprised if the dish was not microwaved. Left quickly after having the ragu taken off the bill.

It feels like the team here really cares and I don't necessarily blame anyone, just whichever corporate entity owns Zizzi's is cramming people into their dining area, reducing portions and cutting staff budgets which makes the experience worse for guests and the staff.

TLDR: Avoid at all costs, not worth the risk for expensive and bland food. It will ruin...

I recently dined at ZIZI and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a stylish decor that sets the perfect tone for a relaxing meal. The staff were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, providing top-notch service without being intrusive.

The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, and everything we ordered was delicious. The appetizers were fresh and flavorful, particularly the Garlic bread with cheese. For the main course, I had the Casareccia Pollo Piccante Pasta, which was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The flavors were well-balanced, and it was evident that high-quality ingredients were used.

The dessert menu is not to be missed! The Salted caramel brownie was a highlight, offering a perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring great value for money.

Overall, ZIZI bath exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're looking for a special occasion spot or just a great meal out, I highly recommend giving them a try. I will definitely be...
