Lavatte is well thought out. It has the modern industrial/flora vibe going on in a lounge environment. It prepares the standard array of hot drinks plus some interesting ones like the bounty hot chocolate. I love the clean fresh feel of the interior. I could easily sit here and let the world pass by as I sip in comfort listening to the melodic tones of the soft lounge music. The staff are salt of the earth. Im from Iceland and me and my british boyfriend were in Birmingham for the day. I looove coffee and this was the nearest place so I decided to try a latte with oat milk, usually I can taste the poorly steamed oat milk but this coffee exceeded any coffee Ive ever had and people need to have their coffee there! The place was so cute and clean and the staff was so lovely! Will come back...

Con: Cappuccino was bad, served in throwaway cups for no apparent reason. Raspberry & white chocolate crepe was with syrup instead of chocolate and berries. We had to go inside to get our menus and again inside to order. No real service. Pro: Lavatte style brunch was delicious although not filling. Food and location is pretty.
