Me and my mate visited this lovely restaurant after a day at bullring and the museum. We walked in and wow the ambience of the place was just stunning, anyway we were greeted by a lovely chap who's name I didn't get he sat us down and went through the menu he even gave us time to choose what we wanted to that was nice to see. The menu wasn't overloaded like most restaurants and the pricing was reasonable to where the place was bang in the middle of the city centre. We opted for lamb chops as starters and I played my safe card which was chicken karahi my friend went for the lamb curry on the recommendation of the lovely waiter and we got some naan bread with that. The food came in reasonable time considering the place was quiet packed out. We were really hungry by then even though we chomped on poppadoms like skittles. The starters came and my o my the lamb chops were truly delicious first bite and I was dancing inside it was tender and moist with alot of flavour oozing out wow a must try. Following that our main meal arrived sizzling with the fluffy naan breads. Again must say I was impressed and compliments must go to the chef he made it just like I like it a bit spicy but not overly just enough so you can enjoy the flavours of the actual dish. Chicken was cooked perfect and the naan was complimenting it perfectly. I noticed my friend quiet and asked him about his lamb curry he said the fact he was silent says something as he ate away. Payment was seamless. The staff were always asking if we needed anything, we just didn't have time for desserts as we wanted to get home to Oldham a long drive back. We parked on the opposite side yes we paid for parking it's in the city after all. I will be coming back definitely when I next visit Birmingham. Thank you guys made our visit a great one after...
Read moređ A Truly Memorable Experience at Nirvana â Even from Across the World! As someone living all the way in Bangladesh, I donât usually write reviews for restaurants located abroad. But **Nirvana in the UK has truly touched my heart â even from a distance. From what Iâve seen, read, and heard, this restaurant is more than just a place to eat â itâs a destination of comfort, flavor, and elegance. The ambiance looks absolutely stunning â modern yet warm, stylish yet inviting. The lighting, decor, and overall vibe of the place give it a peaceful and elevated atmosphere, just like the name suggests: Nirvana...đ Now letâs talk about the food â Iâve seen countless pictures and video reviews, and every single dish looks like a piece of art. Rich, colorful, and freshly made â it reflects true culinary passion. Whether itâs traditional South Asian flavors or contemporary fusion dishes, Nirvana seems to get it perfectly right. What makes it even more special is the attention to detail and the hospitality of the staff. Itâs rare to see such consistency in service and presentation âand that too in such a busy, competitive food scene like the UK. Honestly, even though I havenât visited in person yet, I already feel connected to this place. And I can say with confidence: when I do visit the UK someday, Nirvana will be one of the first places I go.To everyone who works at Nirvana â thank you for creating something so beautiful that it reaches the hearts of people thousands of miles away. From the moment we stepped into Nirvana, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and a relaxed, sophisticated vibe. The ambiance is beautifully doneâelegant without feeling formal, with just the right music and lighting to make the evening feel special.
The service? Spot-on. Attentive but never overbearing. Every staff member we interacted with was polite, knowledgeable, and eager to make sure we had a great experience.
Now the foodâabsolutely incredible. Every dish we ordered felt thoughtfully prepared and packed with flavour. The [e.g., tandoori chicken] was smoky, juicy, and perfectly spiced. The [e.g., butter chicken or lamb biryani] was rich, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. Even the sidesâlike the garlic naan and saffron riceâwere flawless.
Drinks were well-made and reasonably priced, and we ended with a melt-in-the-mouth [e.g., gulab jamun] that sealed the deal.
Whether youâre a lover of traditional Indian cuisine or looking for something with a creative twist, Nirvana nails it. You can taste the care in every bite.
We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you havenât tried Nirvana yetâdo it. You wonât be disappointed.
