Walked in and was told by a waiter to sit down on the nearest chairs, and he will be back (no menus). These seats were right by the door and freezing cold. Unbeknownst to us, the waiter then forgot about us. About 15mins later, we decided to approach the counter asking why we haven't been seated yet and two other families have done after us? Has he forgotten about us? The counter staff didn't look bothered. So I asked another passing waiter? Who said why didnt we ask the first waiter?! Hmmmm. At this point waiter 1 arrives and strangely asks "so you don't want to sit here?" Well, if we had known this was our table we would've said it then, also no menus were given so how are we meant to know this is our table. He then said there is a booth free and we could sit there. Not wanting to wait any longer I picked up 2 menus myself and sat in the booth as advised. We then waited a further 25mins to have our order taken, and then yet another further 25mins for food to be served. I ordered a crepe escape and my husband ordered a cookie dough. The cookie dough was overdone and my crepe was cold! With a blackened banana inside?!!! I had heard others complaining about waiting for water and bills, so decided to pay at the counter and leave. The staff work ethos here is dire and the dessert place is severely suffering due to understaffing. Definitely NOT worth the wait, or a recommendation! Waste of time.

First time visit. The staff were really attentive. Especially the gentleman, I think he was the owner. Can’t remember his name!!!! Didn’t catch his name! He was really helpful, kind and informative and he let me taste some of the gelato before I chose them for my sundae, which is not a given in most places. The presentation of the desserts were impeccable. I really enjoyed it and I will definitely visit back here again..the only thing was that it was really cold in the place but other than that I’ll still come back for sure! The hot chocolate was so nice too and well presented. A lot of pride and effort goes into making the desserts for the customers. It’s not rushed. You get your moneys worth for sure! Thanks guys!!! See you again!

The first time I went here I ordered the big waffle, and the service was great. The second time I went here I ordered an Eton mess sundae, and the service was slow. Both times, the food tasted great but there would be one or two pieces where the fruit would taste off. In my sundae I ate a piece of fruit from the bottom of the glass which tasted so off and left a horrible taste at the back of my throat. I hurriedly ate more ice cream to drown out the taste but it was still there hours later. With the waffle, there were some strawberries that didn't taste sweet or fresh. The portions are huge, just a shame that the fresh(?) fruit lets it down. It would be nice if the tap water was cold too, other than room temperature warm.

Wouldn’t recommend coming here! I find it very unprofessional that members of staff do not have uniform on and beard nets aren’t worn for the dessert makers!

I came here on Saturday and a slender asian male was constantly on his phone behind the bar. He walked outside on his phone numerous times and then came back in to make drinks without washing his hands.

A young rude asian waitress called Anisa served us and was very ignorant and rude. Due to the fact of our religion we kindly asked if certain foods were egg free the waitress rudely said “I don’t know what foods are on the menu, you will have to go and look at the fridge display” when we questioned her knowledge she walked off and ignored us. We tried to follow it up with another waiter and asked for the manager and a foreign blonde lady came over to help us out.

This is the part which baffled me and my family! She told us the cakes are frozen and have been there for a few days and I wouldn’t recommend you buying them!

Eventually we ordered egg free cookie doughs. Taste was bland. You can tell they were frozen and not even sauce! My husband went to the til to pay and he seen that the chocolate was boxed above the microwaved and priced marked at 50p! How can you charge extortionate prices when the ingredients used are dirt cheap!

I won’t be surprised if Pirlos will be here next year! I am reporting you to the health and safety office also. I am disgusted with the restaurant and what it has to offer. I and my family feel discriminated by your waitress ’anisa’ She clearly doesn’t want her job! Why employ young people with no manners? And even your adult workers can’t hold their tongues from swearing on the phone behind the bar! This place is a cover up scam business it feels as if you don’t care about what goes on in here you just want to take...

Very poor customer service and management is even worse. Adolescent waiters are more interested in socialising than doing their job. It wasn't even busy yet we waited half an hour before someone took our order. This was after after we went over to the counter to ask if someone would see to us and they said they would send someone over. After we noticed they had taken the order of a table that came in after us we asked for service again and finally someone took our order. The food and drinks didn't make up for the poor service unfortunately. It took a further 45 mins to get our food. My 'peanut butter' hot chocolate did not tatse of peanut butter at all. They made it again after I asked and it was a lot darker in colour but even then only had a hint of peanut NOT peanut butter which is not the same thing. 2 of us ordered the tiramisu and it only tasted of layers of cream and sponge, not the slightest taste of coffee at all. They served melted ice-cream on my sister's cookie dough so you could tell it had been sat there for a while before they served it. They didn't serve my brother's crème brulé with the blueberry sauce (which we forgot about so never got). All the while the manager was walking around on his mobile making a personal call and when I called him over to complain he carried on his conversation and sent over another waiter. After all of this they had to audacity to charge a service charge just because of the time of day even though the service was atrocitious and the food and drinks were...

I visited last night and was extremely dissatisfied with my experience. I'm a repeat customer and have usually been happy with the service. Me and my husband decided to try the fondue for 2 and were appalled when out came one sliced banana maybe 2 strawberries a pineapple slice and the smallest pot of melted Nutella I have ever seen. We assumed there would be more coming because that wasn't enough for a child let alone 2 adults. When the waiter blankly stared and asked "is everything ok" we could but laugh at the ridiculousness. And the price of it is £13. We would have been better of to go to asda and make our own atleast we could have had one banana each for less than a tenner. Another diservice was the fact that we were given too small cups of tap water, the usual staff are nice enough to atleast consider presentation and put it in a bottle. The quantity of the food wasn't the only issue. When we tried to ask (I'm assuming she was the manager) about the marshmallows, which might I add they never had in the end, she rudely mumbled without even looking at us and ran off. She was extremely rude not only to us but her staff aswell. It was clear she was arguing with the guy in the back and made no attempt to calm him down rather she took the confrontational route. Our visit lasted a mere 20 minutes maximum (it doesn't take very long to slice a banana and serve it). So what should've been a nice relaxing night out turned out to be a horrendous experience that we paid more than we...
