It was great to find a nice restaurant like this open before 5 because we had to travel and getting sat at 4pm was fantastic!

Convenient parking meant it was a 5 minutes walk from the carpark to the restaurant which was even better because we were starving. It was quite empty when we arrived and they sat us straight away.

The atmosphere was so nice, but I've dropped a star because there was a heavy smell in the air that was reminiscent of incense. It might have been the candles burning on every table, but with zero airflow it was massively overpowering.

BUT everywhere was so clean and tidy, the decor is wonderful, the toilets were clean and they had a disability toilet downstairs. The plates and chopsticks and little hand towels were so cute. I loved the effort they put into it all.

The servers were attentive and so polite. Really high level of hospitality and they checked in on us throughout. Some of the best service I've had in a restaurant before.

They cater to gluten free with their own gf menu, which was fantastic! There weren't a great deal to choose from but honestly I think the variety was still really good.

I chose the spring rolls which were crunchy and hot, and the special pho which looked amazing when it came out. Unfortunately it was jam packed with coriander which was very over powering, but that's more a personal preference and it was really fresh and crunchy. It was also quite under seasoned. I had to add some salt to the broth to bring out the flavours. There were also a lot of small chicken bones in it. Small enough to swallow but it was still a little off putting.

My partner had the slow cooked lemongrass beef that was slathered in ginger. Hes Filipino and even he said it blew his head off. But it was super tender and came with fresh and crunchy salad, so it wasn't a heavy dish.

For the price I'd have expected it to be a little better in flavour and a greater portion size. Especially with the starter as 3 tiny spring rolls shouldn't cost £7.50

But it was still an exciting experience after a long...

I visited the resorts world restaurant today for a Father's Day meal and had an awful experience. This restaurant does not respect people's dietary requirements at all!!! I am posting this here to warn people about the bullring one as well since I assume all staff have the same training. It is clearly a very dangerous restaurant choice for those with allergies. There were 5 of us. We ordered 2 meals from the vegan menu as 2 of us are vegan. We specified vegan when ordering. Once our meals arrived, we were seconds away from starting to eat when the waitress came over to say that actually the vegan chicken was no longer vegan. Apparently as of today, 15.06.25, the vegan chicken now contains egg. This could have been a deadly mistake if we did have an allergy to egg and were told this by the waitress 5 seconds later. Luckily we do not. We had to reorder and select different items off the menu. 20 minutes later, the 3 other people had finished their meals as our replacement meals arrived. I ate the first bite of mine, only to taste... yes you guessed it... egg. I looked closely at the rice on my plate to see it was egg fried rice. You just can't make it up. We clearly couldn't eat here so we then had to find somewhere else for the 2 of us to eat while the other 3 waited in the shops as we could not get a table for all 5 of us to eat, as being Father's Day it was very busy. I had my 6 month old son with me who was getting restless because of the amount of extra time due to how long the discussions with the waitress and ordering a second meal etc took. Anyway after all of that the manager thought it appropriate to charge us for the drinks at the end of the meal. Vegans, vegetarians, or anyone with dietary requirements, stay well away from this place, they do not understand or respect other people's dietary requirements at all. 10 years as a vegan and this is the worst...

Visited 2x on Wednesday 19th Feb 2025.

On my first visit I went shortly after 14:00 and it was relatively quiet with maybe 10 other guests.

Initially I had to change my chair as it had dry spillage on it.

Ordered the "Triple Roast" which came within 15 mins but I thought great as I was quite hungry.

This was slightly above warm. The taste was disappointing. Both in appearance and taste seemed as though it was cooked maybe the day before. The meat lacked taste and the egg fried rice was dry. Hugely lacking in taste

I also ordered the hot Vietnamese Coffee which was nice. Together this was just over £27

As a work colleague wanted to eat there for dinner, as apparently the restaurant had been closed for a while and it was on their list I reluctantly went back but thought I'd order something different and also felt they had a good menu as well as being very different to the other restaurants in the building.

On this occasion it was just after 20:00 and very busy.

The 4 cocktails we ordered we decent.

I ordered the following

Bao Bun - Roast Pork Spare Ribs - Hot Kick Salt and Chilli Crispy Prawns Chilli, Salt & Pepper Chips

The ribs tasted nice, lovely sauce although these were not spicy but that's down to personal taste.

The rest of the order all seemed thrown together, lack of seasoning and effort.

£89 spent on this occasion.

It's a real shame as I'll be staying within the Resorts World for work on a monthly basis and this restaurant with the type of food I feel is perfect for me.

I'm unsure if this is within the normal range of quality or the chef was having a bad day but I doubt I'll be returning.

I'd like to give a little shout out to the young (light in complexion) lady who served us as she was full of energy, had great suggestions and was...

Been to VSK many times before but there was something different about it this time. It was definitely special due to our waiter, James. The service he provided was amazing. Very polite and friendly, gave his recommendations when asked and also helped work out what drink we had previously which we wanted again. We ordered the vegetable spring rolls, loaded chunky chips, crispy chicken with stir fry noodles, crispy chicken with egg fried rice and curry sauce. For drinks we had sprite, VSK ice tea and got a complimentary strawberry lemonade. We asked for extra curry sauce, sweet chilli and soy sauce for the mains. The food and drinks were amazing, nothing to fault. We also asked for the halal menu and they do have great options. Previously tried some of their other dishes and they were really good too! Thank you James for taking care of us and good luck with all your studies too! You made our evening very special! VSK he deserves a bonus! If you haven’t visited, it’s definitely one to try. There’s seating upstairs, downstairs and outside too. The atmosphere is always lovely, staff are friendly, food and drinks arrive quick and they have a variety to choose from!

We had a lovely family meal at Vietnamese Street Kitchen and really enjoyed the experience overall. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with stylish décor that gave a nice modern twist to traditional Vietnamese vibes. The food was flavourful and well-presented, though it did take a bit of time to arrive. Prices were a little on the higher side for a casual meal, but the quality of the food made up for it. For starters, my wife and I shared the chicken mango salad and duck dumplings. Both dishes were fresh, full of flavour, and nicely balanced — a great way to start the meal. The kids were happy with their chicken mains served with chips and salad — simple but tasty and well portioned. For mains, I went for the Bun-Cha-Ha-Noi, which included fresh rice noodles, thinly sliced pork, king prawn meatballs, and a traditional spring roll. It was a delicious combination of textures and flavours. My wife had the grilled lemongrass chilli chicken — flame-grilled thighs marinated in a fragrant chilli blend — and she really enjoyed the spicy kick. Overall, a great spot for something a bit different. We’d return again, especially for the unique flavours.
