Sphinx Kitchen — Restaurant in Birmingham

Delivery did not arrive, even though the service picks up orders from both Costa and burger King at the services we are staying at. Spoke to the rider who said he could not get to us as on a motorway, he said he was going to get a car driver to deliver food and would be 10-15minutes. Waited 20 minutes and tried calling again and the rider ignored my call then eventually automated reply of can't complete your call. Then 10 minutes later order cancelled via restaurant and no phonecall to state why. The food was cancelled by them 2 hours after making the order. Very dissatisfied and absoloutly starving, at 21:30hrs 30minutes before the restaurant...

Went to Sphinx Egyptian Street Food for lunch with my partner. After ordering our food, we waited for it to arrive only for my partner's food to arrive but mine did not. The man serving walked out of the shop leaving us unable to ask when my food would arrive. After waiting for 20 minutes, we ended up checking only to find that my order had completely been ignored. We had not been charged for it, but the guy at the till hadn't said a word about the food I had ordered. I desperately wanted to eat some hearty, tasty food during my hospital stay at the QE so ordered a takeaway from Sphinx Kitchen.

I thoroughly enjoyed my lamb and chicken meat, rice, bulgar and salad, topped with soft, fluffy bread. It was all extremely flavoursome and the meat was tender. After eating my meal, I was very satiated because the portion size was generous and filling.

I look forward to eating there in person one day and try out more authentic Egyptian food. Thank you for cheering me up with lovely food during a challenging time...
