Sultan Lounge — Restaurant in Birmingham

I really do not care about your lounge or about setting another foot in it!!! You are saying I’m banned like I actually care. I actually regret every penny I spent on that place and that went into your pocket and regret ever bringing new customers to the place. BTW I’m not the only one who referenced your lounge and your treatment of customers as discriminatory and rude!!! There several reviews like mine too. All you have to do, is look at the amount of the 1 star reviews and be happy I gave the place 4. The 4 is not for you it is for the nice staff, the Shisha and the food. Unfortunately, instead of taking the criticism, you just attack the reviewers by calling them disrespectful.

Alhamdulielah every single person who served me at your lounge have my respect including the workers mohammed and the other guys, they are all nice ppl and I have never disrespected any of them, but again you have to say that I was disrespectful because you could Not actually meet criticism with a nice reply other than criticizing back.

When it come to opening a business, We already have shisha and restaurant businesses in Saudi and we have never discriminated against our customers and they love us.

Very nice Shisha but their pipes sometimes leaks which gives headache. The reason I changed my rating is because I’m a Muslim and Muslims always say the truth. Jabbar who is the owner was so rude to me on multiple occasions and to be fair I felt like I’m discriminated against. I honestly don’t know what is his problem. I took one star off just because of this fact. I’m not setting another foot there and for my friends please do whatever you like I honestly don’t care.

Thank you to the staff, the lady at the counter who always smiles when taking orders and Mohammed the Arab guy. These two are the best...

If you want peace AVOID AVOID this place

I thought I had found a place I could frequently go to and call my local spot. However after having been here a few times I can tell that this place is RACIST and the male staff are very RUDE and have no manners and no customer service skills! The only nice person is the auntie at the till ! The staff are hostile and will come clear your table without even asking if your finished - this happened so many times and I ignored but the final straw was:

When we had one of the male staff following us around after a misunderstanding of where we can be seated shouting at us saying “you can leave this place if your not happy” aggressively ! All because we asked if we could sit in their VIP area because we had no idea it was a VIP area that was for paying members only. This man FOLLOWED us all the way back to the till still speaking so loudly telling us we can take our business elsewhere - and as two women we felt harassed and intimidated. Once we got back to the till he said something in his language and the man at the till joined in and didn’t even ask what happened and if everything is ok.

Honestly I will never forget this day it felt so horrible and I cant believe the unprofessionalism and their reaction and harassment to such a small...

This is by far the worst shisha spot in birmingham, if i could give them 0 stars i would. On entrance to the lounge we were greeted by unpleasant looks by the doorman, he then proceeded to ask us for ID which is fine, however i’m 32 and i look older, i still however presented my ID to him. He then explained to me that there is a £100 membership charge for entry which i know is a lie as my friends have been there before and there was no such charge, so i tell him to point out the customers sitting in the lounge who have paid the £100 charge so i can ask them, he then quickly changed his stance and said the lounge is fully booked, which is obviously a lie as over half the lounge was empty and if it was fully booked he would have said it at the start.

I don’t like to play the race card, however the majority of customers are of arab and persian decent. I am of somali decent and i somehow feel we were judged based on that.
