Currently takeaway only like a lot of cafés nowadays but don’t let that stop you from visiting this darling café in the heart of Selly Oak specialising in boba tea. It’s hard to choose what to have as there are loads of options on the menu. I went with the Oreo milk tea with tapioca pearls and foam. You’re able to personalise your drink with the amount of ice and sweetness. I went with no added sugar, as oreos are sweet enough for me. It was the right choice and the drink was nicely balanced, the foam giving it a slight savoury edge and the sweetness of the pearls and cookies made for a nice balance of flavours. I’ve often ruined a perfectly good boba drink by not adjusting the sweetness level before ordering, so definitely consider this before ordering. The cups they serve the drinks in are really luxurious too compared with the cheap plastic ones you usually get from boba cafés. Rather than throw it away I’m going to keep mine and reuse it at home.

3* just because I blame myself for the issues. Ordered a brown sugar soy fresh milk with bubbles which had about 10 bubbles and literally tasted just of soya milk. I realised it wasn’t a tea afterwards, just milk, but assumed it was a milky tea so it’s my own fault. Worker was also unfriendly and couldn’t answer any of my questions about jelly types etc and then I was charged for a large even though I asked for a regular. Again, kind of my own fault as I paid and then questioned it when I should’ve said beforehand. Won’t go back and don’t recommend. £5 for soy milk and a few bubbles🥲

One of the best bubble teas I've had. I had a black sugar milk tea with tapioca and 50% less sugar, but was still a little sweet for my taste. The takeout cup is very strong, many others I've had have broken/exploded on a journey, but these cups are high quality. Nice interior design. The eat-in spots are limited (only 3 people max, by the window),!perhaps still due to covid. Fast service.
