The Chicken Hut — Restaurant in Birmingham

Absolutely not going here again! I went to get dinner for me and my mum when I was in Birmingham visiting my baby brother at the children's hospital. As I went in there was an older man sat on the table next to the ordering desk eating his chicken. I ordered my food and waited by the man. Not long after, the man jumped up from the table and shouted in a language I couldn't understand, it was obvious that this man was unhappy and unsatisfied with his meal. It was when I looked down and saw the man pointing at his chicken that I realised the chicken was extremely undercooked and was pink with blood dripping off it. The man looked worried and concerned and then walked off to leave, putting his chicken in the bin as he left. He did not get offered a refund, no apology whatsoever from the cooks because they denied the chicken was undercooked when it was more than obvious it was undercooked and to be very honest I was surprised it wasn't still clucking. To put the icing on the cake, I watched the man at the ordering desk wait for the disappointed customer leave and then checked the chicken using a metal tong from the lettuce bowl and then after touching the chicken he put the tongs back into the lettuce bowl! This was not the worst part as my mum has woken up this morning with food poisoning and I have had to have the day off work to look after her because she is very ill and I am the only person home at the moment as my younger brother is still in hospital with my father and the rest of my siblings have had to go to school. All I can say is if you would like food poisoning then please feel free to go here! Thank god I didn't give my extremely ill little brother any of the chicken!...

This is the worst chicken place I’ve ever been to. The chicken was made with no love, no passion only in the eyes of money. No chicken should taste the way it did. I ordered the chicken burger and chips with like 6 wings. The chicken in the chicken burger tasted stale and was so dry even the mayonnaise couldn’t save it. The lettuce didn’t taste like lettuce and lettuce and has a very simple taste. The buns on the bread tasted very hard. The wings were stale and tasted like they’ve been made a couple days ago. The chips were decent but that’s about it. The bbq sauce was watered down and tasted like water too. The only thing I enjoyed was my drink. This establishment should not be allowed to serve human beings or even animals. I urge you not to try it because it’s not worth it and you will just get a belly ache. Went to childrens hospital tday and bought food from here today . 1 fillet burger , 1 chicken and chips with donner and 2 pepsis . I can confidently say i will not be going back . The food was vile . The burger buns were stale the fillet was vile and extremley salty ! Also he gave mayo the size of a 5 pence coin , the burger tasted tangy idky . Had 2 bites and couldnt have no more . I thought the rest will be ok . The chips were below avereage not even cooked properly the chicken was disgusting and too salty and donner was like rubber/plastic . Threw it all in the bin . I dont really like leaving bad reviews but when a place is bad and i think its not safe to eat i will leave a review . Only good thing i can say that its near a hospital so once you eat and if you get food poisining youve got a hospital right there but then again its a childrens hospital .
