Everything came are completely different from the menu. Foods are rubbish. Expensive as the food quality. Worst Japanese restaurant we had ever. We ended up need to have another meals from somewhere else.

Omg, you guys even argue lol. We didn't finished all the foods, please check your CCTV. We have free dish?? What was it??? You meant the udon that we didn't accept when the waitress brought over? We paid everything on the table! If your food not like the pictures, why you use the pictures on your menu to misleading customers? the most disgusting food was the skewers. On your menu it is promoted as a grilled skewers. but the skewers came as boiled meet and then put sauces on the top. We ordered two plates of skewers, we didn't even eat the second plate. The king prawns tempura is not king prawn. I understand the ingredients are expansive now but the food size is horrible comparing to the price. I should really take the pictures of your food! Also I found out we are not the only customers complaint your food and the food size. Oh, and also your hot dishes not even hot. I wondered how your restaurant passed the food hygiene....

When we came to pay, an item was charged incorrectly on our bill, it was a more expensive beef on rice dish, rather than the cheaper version we had ordered. When raised, the server checked with the chef and then came back and told us that we were wrong and had ordered that item. We had not. We continued to explain that we absolutely had not ordered that item, then the member of staff told us that we should have told them when the dish was served, passing blame onto us. We have no idea what your menu items should look like. It is not our responsibility. We simply asked to pay for the items at the price we ordered but until we argued for 5 minutes you refused saying “but you ate it”. Such a terrible customer service experience which will result in us never going back no matter how good the food was. Get better customer service and you’ll be a good restaurant.

My order: Tempura vegetables Chicken katsu curry Mango and pineapple tea Teriyaki chicken bun
I really hate leaving bad reviews but my order was so disappointing! The worst thing was I ordered tempura vegetables for £9.50 and what I got was five pieces of small, cut up vegetables in a tempura batter that hardly coated them, one of which was a piece of onion. I took a picture to send to Uber support but unfortunately it wasn't saved on my phone.
The hirata bun was put in a plastic container and was sat in sauce, which led the bun to become soggy by the time it arrived. I honestly expected more, way more from a place that's so highly rated.
The katsu curry was nice, but my order was delivered by someone on a bike, it took over an hour to get here, so I had to reheat it in the microwave. I understand that's not the restaurant's fault, but I wanted to mention my overall experience.
The mango and pineapple tea tasted watery, not flavourful or refreshing at all, definitely not at all sweet.
