Blanco Lounge — Restaurant in Bolton

An expensive wetherspoons Came here because of the extensive gluten free menu to be left upset and disappointed. Arrived and found out it was order at the bar but whatever that wasn't a big deal as loads of places do it. Ordered gf louisianna chicken with sweet potato fries and 2 other dishes for the rest of my family. Food came and my sweet potato fries were cold, told a man in a red chequered shirt and he said he would get me some new ones. 40seconds later he comes back, gives me my fries and walks off. I bit into one and could tell they were double dipped, didn't spend nearly £50 on food for double dipped chips. I had to go find him to give him the dish back and told him at that point I wanted a refund and went back to my table. Got back to my table and he came over with my refund and I then explained that I work in kitchens and food environments and if we sent out reheated food we would be disciplined and that I was now a very hungry pregnant woman just watching my family eat and all I got back was "well I said were sorry can't do anything else" and walked off. I'd like to add something from today, 12th September '25, unfortunately. I was with my partner and his parents and the blonde-haired waitress with an accent brought us our drinks. I'm sorry I don't know her name, so I'm explaining it the best I can. I tried helping by moving the menu while she was putting the teapot down and the tea spilt a bit. Went for the first time on Saturday with our dog. Lovely greeting from the staff as soon as we walked in. He explained options to order our food; bar or qr code. We opted for the qr code. Really simple and easy to use. The menu was huge with so many delicious options. Staff came over to make sure our dog was provided with treats. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Food and drinks were served efficiently and we were delighted with the quality of what we chose.
