We visit our local Coffee House regularly and love it. Today we had a trip out to Bolton and went into the Coffee House expecting to be greeted with the same experience. The young lady who served us was pleasant, very friendly and greeted us with a smile. However, from here it was not such a pleasant experience. The table hadn’t been wiped after the previous customer, nor had the table next to ours. We cleaned our table with our own antibacterial wipes. There was litter on the floor and the floors didn’t look particularly clean. I used the disabled toilet which looked decidedly grubby. Had we not already ordered and paid we would not have stayed. Our drinks were fine but our cakes were dry and quite unpleasant. Had this been 5pm and the end of a busy day it may have been a little more understandable, if not acceptable, but this was 1pm and staff were witnessed just standing around. This was very disappointing and I’m afraid we won’t be visiting The Coffee House Bolton again...

It can be frustrating to witness this when you're looking for a place to enjoy your coffee inside. It would be beneficial if the staff could implement measures to manage this issue, as it has led to occasions where I had to abandon my plans for a coffee due to a lack of available tables, despite seeing numerous people with empty glasses.
One particularly negative aspect is their £2 charge for a babycinno. While I understand that businesses need to make a profit, it's difficult to justify such an excessive price for a small glass of milk, especially considering that the toddler will likely be accompanied by at least one parent who will be making a purchase themselves. This pricing policy stands out even more when other establishments offer...
