Went to the Coffee#1 Clifton cafe. Thought I was ordering ham, mozzarella and cheddar panini. It usually costs £5.30 I think, fair enough it was half price deal as I assume they want to sell remaining sandwiches before cafe closes. But this is pretty pitiful looking and not appetising. Lack of ingredients and not worth paying full price off. Shame! Didn’t eat it. This is nothing to do with the staff and they provided a great service and kindly refunded the panini and offered me something else, so I played it safe with plain croissant. It’s a shame the main company doesn’t produce decent sandwiches or ensure the sandwiches are consistently checked and made as it states on the label. The staff provide great service but the food lacks quality. With so many cafes around here, it should be something to...

Staff seemed fed up and tired which came across as sullen and rude. I could hear the staff talking about me as I was waiting for the coffee which made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. If someone waiting to take the coffees makes the staff so disgruntled then maybe a bit of communication would do good ('We'll bring them over when they're ready') or get some anger management lessons. Don't normally care for staff being a bit off because I understand people can become tired and can have bad days etc. But we all get tired at work and have those days and so I have to make an exception. The coffee could have been decent if such a bitter taste hadn't been left. Won't be coming back and neither will my...

It is alright Coffee#1 in Bristol from the quality perspective but the cafe is really dark and only 2-3 tables got some light which isn't great to enjoy the time during daytime.

The biggest problem for me was the service. I have visited that Coffee#1 3 times and each time stuff was swearing really heavily with no reason to other person from stuff next to me and my partner. Once they started signing really loudly and (on purpose?) badly and giggling at each other. It's great that you feel free at work but maybe some people would like to just sit and relax a bit in your cafe? Each time I felt we just chosen a bad timing (all 3 visited across 2 years) but after the last time we decided to...

Lovely place, looks a little dark and gloomy from the outside but I think just the right amount of light! Excellent range of hot chocolate and delicious coffee. Also serve fruit juices and cakes. I had a chocolate crunch which was not great tasting and a little dry. Although apparently the Portuguese tart was exceptional! Would recommend
