Coppa Club's reviews speak for themselves, with many expressing disappointment due to slow responses in getting their dishes and poor quality/overpriced food. I had a similar experience and would like to share my feedback: 1. The team at Coppa Club was disrespectful and disregarding. The manager, James, even walked away while I was speaking, and the server did the same. When we expressed our dissatisfaction with the pizzas, which looked messy and unappetizing, the line manager had an attitude. 2. It's worth noting that adding parmesan to your dish comes with an additional cost, which was unexpected and not mentioned upfront. 3. The drinks and food at Coppa Club are overpriced and of poor quality. It's not a good match considering the high prices. 4. The food itself was bland and dry, making it one of the worst meals I've tasted. 5. The customer service was poor. While serving our food, the staff was also attending to another table, leaving some of our dishes on a tray getting cold. 6. Additionally, the food served to us was cold, which further added to the disappointment. I would advise avoiding this place if you want to avoid disappointment based on my experience

I've visited a couple times Coppa and I've hopped I will have a chance to experience a better quality each time but always I was disappointed. Coppa has great location and amazing space in the corner to sit, relax, read something and drink coffee. That's the only positive thing which I experienced. Bad part? For any order I needed to wait 15 minutes (tea, coffee, croissant). Tea is always coming in the teapot which is totally useless and can't properly split the tea to the cup (I tried so hard but it's always situation when I have 1/3 of my tea on the table/floor). I'm not expecting to have brilliant coffee in the restaurant (because it's not the main thing which Coppa is offering) but each time coffee is super bitter, untasty and way below the average equality. Croissant is WAY overpriced and it came cold inside (so I'm assuming Coppa got bag of croissants in the fridge/frizzer and they are just reheat in the oven). I will be still visiting Coppa to read book but I will be ordering just a single thing which will allow me to sit there for some time. Great place to relax, terrible to experience good quality food/drinks.

Amazing Spot for a Sunday Brunch! We stumbled upon Coppa Club and were immediately drawn in by the beautifully set-up tables — eye-catching colors, neatly arranged, and right in the middle of the pavement, creating such a charming atmosphere. We decided to stop for a quick coffee and breakfast with my partner and our baby, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. As a true coffee lover, I can confidently say their coffee is top-notch — far superior to anything you’d get from the big chains. Our food arrived within a few minutes, and everything was served with care. The staff were incredibly polite, well-dressed, and genuinely friendly, which made the experience even better. The quality of the food is a solid 5 out of 5 — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Having tried brunch spots all over the UK, we can easily say this is one of the best we’ve ever come across. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

Bad service, bad food.

Having previously been here once for a drink with a friend we decided to try lunch. What a mistake we won't be making again.

Upon arrival, we were waiting 5 minutes before someone even acknowledged us to show us to our table. Pretty big no no in a restuarant which charges what this does. The male bar staff memeber on duty was rude and brushed me off with a temper when I asked if anyone was coming to greet us. Get some manners please.

We eventually got seated and ordered. The menu here is frankly just odd. It's quite clear to see that it doesn't know what type of cuisine it's going for and therefore has no identity, so just squats generically across all cuisines - Italian, British, even Spanish. It splashes some foreign words here and there to confuse you and mix it up a little. It doesn't work, and is just wrong. Management take note.

It didn't take long for the food to arrive and it was easy to see why. The chicken was bland, uninspiring and lacking any kind of flavour or seasoning. Pro tip kitchen folks - Don't label something as Piri Piri sauce when in fact it's tomato ketchup and has literally zero spice. What made matters worse was when my friend found bones in hers. Audacious considering the prices and then with the 12.5% service charge added on.

What made the whole experience 10x worse was all the staff here seeemed thoroughly miserable and like they didn't want to be there at all.

It's a shame as the venue itself is quite nice. However, avoid this place if you want a decent meal. There are far better places in and around Clifton with better service, and staff that are actually friendly...

I go to Coppa every now and then as it’s a nice place in general. However, I went out for few drinks with my partner on a Saturday ( we didn’t dine there this time) and one of the waiters spilled the drinks all over us, my shoes, my partners trousers, my coat… it wouldn’t be that big of a deal, after all it’s not the end of the world. But how it was handled was very poor and unacceptable. The waiter did apologise but then he said, I’ll get you free drinks because he spilled them. Bear in mind that we already paid for those drinks that he spilled so he only replaced them. When I went to claim those free drinks we were offered as an apology for our soiled clothes, they said that we got free drinks already, even though I explained we paid for them. He said that you paid for the spilled drinks, we served you new drinks that you didn’t paid for so you got them for free and that they can’t offer ‘another’ round for free. I think anyone would agree that if a waiter spills drinks while serving that you already paid for, then replacing those drinks isn’t for free, since we paid for them. I now need to get my coat to dry cleaners cause it has Prosecco all over it. I don’t know what COPPA thinks customer service is but the least you could have done is to offer actual free drinks as an apology or offer the dry cleaning service for clothes you have spilled those drinks on. Customer service is clearly not on a Coppa’s Staff priority list, you will pay for dinner or drinks even if it ends up all over your clothes...

Disappointing visit to Coppa Club this Sunday evening, made all the more so as it was my daughters’ birthday. Incidentally I could see they’d noted that on the booking , but it wasnt mentioned in any way.

Service was slow - we were there for a good 20m before anyone took our drinks order - there was no apology or acknowledgement of the wait. It kind of felt like the grown ups had gone out leaving the kids in charge: it was very hard to flag anyone down, Drinks were forgotten, orders not checked back and on the way out one of the waitresses bumped me as she jumped up from lying down on one of the banquettes.

Horses for courses but it was also VERY LOUD. The Bristol coppa club isn’t one of their largest venues and I suspect that contributed to the fact that volume levels of the live music- Just too loud making conversation almost impossible at times. I wish we’d been warned as not a great option for our party with hearing aids and sound sensitive kids. They were good enough to let us move to a slightly quieter spot.

Finally the loos were horrible- the ladies only had one useable stall- one had faeces smeared all over it and the other had run out of loo paper.

The Cardiff one is so well run, but the Bristol one just doesn’t really cut it. Not sure we’ll be back in a hurry,...
