Worst bar in Bristol! Reserved 2 tables for my neices hen party for 20 people, I was running behind as me and two others walked a member of our party to a taxi rank so they weren't alone in town but told the rest of our party to carry on. On arrival the bouncer refused entry to our hen party saying that there was too many of us so we needed to pay another £45 for an extra table (even though I had already paid £90 for 2 tables of 10 people and there was now 18 of us) they argued that tables are only for up to 8 people! So why allow me to book for 10?? As I wasn't there my mum went ahead and paid the extra £45 as she didnt want the group waiting outside as some were elderly, she seated the group and waited at reception for me to arrive 5 minutes later. I showed my email receipts showing booking and they said to go sit down and they would find a manager and arrange a refund for my mum and some complimentary drinks. All was fine until my mum was heading home and we still hadn't spoke to a manager so we went to chase up about the refund to which we were then told that she couldn't have a refund as we drank the "complimentary" drinks which were still sat on the table (but they couldnt take back as they had already served them!!!) and that a table only seated 8 and that we had more (again why not state this on the phone and allow me to book a table for 10?) They they said that we weren't forced to pay the extra £45 for entry and after arguing back and forth the bouncer admitted yes he did. Manager said tough basically no refund! So my mum left after between us paying £135 for 2 tables! Within the next half an hour the hen was then assaulted by another customer (we have no clue who she was) so we reported it to the bouncers who then went to speak to the woman the bouncers then came back to our table to tell us we had to leave as we had pushed her! Of course we did we pushed her off the hen who she was grabbing by her hair! BUT we also were the ones who reported it!!! When we asked the staff to check the cameras they said the THREE!!! Cameras by our table all had blind spots of our table so would be pointless and that we just need to leave! So we did! Out of pocket! Completely sober as we hadn't even drank majority of the drinks that they charged us for! And with our night completely ruined! So after an hour and half of being in that place and feeling utterly deflated we called it a night and went home!! I'm absolutely disgusted with the way we were treated and coyotes customer service and if i were you I would avoid the place!!!
I've attached pictures of the confirmation emails so you can see it's says 10 people to 1 table! Please go careful as how many other people have they conned into paying for an extra table...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAVOID!! if you want a bottomless brunch AVOID!!!!!! Absolutely horrendous experience. Being a New bar so obviously we never had been before when we turned up there was no one to meet on the door or show us where seats are or explain how the brunch works - We had to walk around to find a staff member to ask where we sit - was told to sit down and someone would be over shortly. We had booked a Bottomless Brunch from 2.30 - 4.00pm At around 4.45pm 15 minutes of being ignored - trying to get staffs attention who were deliberately ignoring, We grabbed the same waitress who sat us down and asked how does the brunch work? Do we order with her? We have not received anything or drinks - she told us she was sorry she would send someone over⦠we then watched her carry on over to another table and then āforget us againā just left us sat on an empty table at the front! In eyeline of all the staff - another 15 minutes go by I grab another girl who says āIām just going to the toilet Iāll get someone with you in a minuteā - then goes behind the bar and carryās on what she is doing not speaking to anyone?ā I get up after waiting 30 minutes into our brunch with no drink no pizza no service to ask to speak to the manager .. thereās not one staff member available and have to speak to the security bouncer who was very apologetic, but still I had to wait standing on the side of the bar while no one was available to speak (the manager wasnāt there) The only person was the original waitress who has ignored us for the last 35 minutes - She again was very apologetic but sorry 35/40 mins into a 90min brunch with no direction, no welcome, no explanation or no drink's was out of order. We wanted a refund and to leave! She tried talking us into staying which just wasnāt an option. I wanted to leave it had ruined my day the experience was shocking - she told me she would get me a refund ā¦ā¦10/15 minutes later I am still waiting!!!!!! She had gone off to a BBQ hut!? And AGAIN completely forgotten or just not bothered? i had to grab another random girl for this refund who did it instantly- so why was I left a further 10/15 mins after expressing how unhappy I was with the waiting previously? Honestly I never complain or leave a bad review but this in all honesty ruined my weekend and Iām very upset about it and the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad a really fun time on a hen do a few weeks back, the waitresses were brilliant and so much food and drink so deffo worth the money. However I did get quite upset as I read lied the toilets are up 2 massive flights of stairs. I have a heart and lung diseases called takayasu Arteritis and Iām registered disabled so I knew these stairs would finish me off if I even attempted. I asked a lady on the bar if they have a disabled toilet and she said of course and took me to it, I was stopped by security who looked me up and down and asked if I was really disabled, and what my disability is. I get enough of this when I have to park sometimes with my badge and it gives me the worst anxiety. I said Iād show him a picture of my blue badge and he eventually let me through. Later on my friend needed the toilet as she suffers with Crohnās disease I sugggested she use the downstairs loo incase she doesnāt make it. Again security guard stopped her and almost didnāt let her in, just shaking his head and ignoring us. I got quite upset at this point and asked to have a word with the manager to see if the security guard can be a bit more aware of disabilities that arenāt visible but the manager just told me that āit is what it isā and it gets very busy then he walked away. I didnāt feel like I wanted to use the toilet again incase I was faced with more prejudice opinions so I left this place which was such a shame. Never felt so invalidated about my illness before which is embarrassing enough as itās very life limiting and I HATE being reminded of my limited capacity. Maybe some more awareness of hidden disabilities would really benefit your customers who pay a lot for this experience and donāt expect to be interrogated on what...
