Fantastic cakes, coffee, and service. The owner/barista is always friendly, and bakes the sweets herself. They are welcoming regarding wifi/ laptop usage, which I've found to be rare in Clifton, so long as you respect that you should move along if you're done with your coffee and new customers need a seat (which I would do regardless, but they have polite signage). The cafe is very clean, bright, and a calming space. I'm a third wave coffee fan, and the coffee strikes a good balance that I can enjoy a cup as much as my husband who enjoys a bit darker roast. Cannot stress enough how fresh and phenomenal the cakes are. We are newly relocated to Bristol, and this is certainly my new neighborhood go-to. Shameless photos included of the ridiculous amount of cakes we've tried so far (gotta taste 'em all!), but as folks here testify, the strawberry bakewell is the superstar.

Lovely cafe where you can choose the beans from two coffee beans for americano and great flat white as well. The store only allowed one pair of customer each and had good covid measures with hand sanitisers as well. They had good variety of pastries and cherry bake well tart was great! It was lovely to see other coffee beans and reusable cups being sold as well. Would love to come back to try their main menu some day :) It will be great if the beans flavour profile to be advertised and potentially adding a filter coffee option for keen coffee drinkers but other than this it was good.

Dropped by last Saturday for some coffee and light bites. It was our second visit and the cafe has been very consistent -- friendly, welcoming staff, great selection of hot and cold drinks, lovely and tasty food. Their tea selection is superb and my husband liked the hot mocha too. Standouts are the croissant and the spanakopita-like pastry (spinach and cheese, love the crispy edges and the buttery taste). They have outdoor seating as well. Very clean toilet which is a plus. Will definitely come back.

We have been regular customers since Twelve began and previously when it was Farm. As loyal customers we were surprised to once again see the prices rise when we recently visited. The price for our normal breakfast for two showed an increase of £1.60 which is around 10%, this follows a rise which also took place towards the end of last year. As we are in the coffee business we appreciate that wholesale prices have risen but feel that the recent price increases make Twelve an expensive place to drink and eat even when taking into account Clifton prices. We are most disappointed and just wanted to share this with others; there are much more reasonable places to drink and eat in Clifton village - we hope that Twelve is not pricing itself out of what is a very competitive market. Sadly they are probably going to loose what were some very loyal customers! We wanted to share this directly with the owner but unfortunately she was...

Came in a couple of weeks ago for a takeaway coffee. Waited twenty minutes for a really sub-par mocha, lukewarm too which was a shame. No one was greeting customers on the way in and the place wasn't even that busy, there were four members of staff on who had the time to check their phones and drink their own coffees but not to serve customers so pretty disappointed in all honesty!

I have now received a response from the owner of this cafe who didn't want to respond to my complaint but rather compare it to a separate review on trip advisor from someone who's had a similar experience... if you're receiving several reviews of the same ilk, maybe look at your own business rather than lashing out at customers, rather like a...
