Room 54 Ramsbottom — Restaurant in Bury

What can I say about room 54 that would make you understand how much love is shown to their customers...We started to go in there a few years ago, actually we called in one morning on the way to my daughters speech and language appointment. Jackie came over to speak to Gracie(my daughter) Gracie didn't really talk back due to her lack of confidence with her speech. I explained to Jackie she had a speech and language delay and isn't confident in talking to new people. On our way out Jackie came over with a treat for Gracie for after her speech and language appointment - that little gesture made a big difference and we are now regulars and it's Gracie's favourite place. On Gracie's 7th birthday during lockdown she asked for Jackies scrambled eggs - apparently they're the best(better than mine) and it came with a birthday card. The food is always amazing and Jackie will change any item to accommodate your needs. My eldest daughter is autistic and only likes her food a certain way and Jackie gets it right everytime and goes above and beyond to make sure we feel comfortable. I must also add you get served of a lovely gent named Dale - always cheerful, makes a mean latte and always remembers what you normally have! Honestly we always feel like part of the family...

Having had the worst over priced butties EVER at Hebden Sarnies, Hebden bridge, I walked past Room 54, saw vegan options at around £5-7 & had to sample to compare!! I’ve had the vegan sausage butty with caramelised onions, she’s added additional grilled tomatoes, the ciabatta is large, with vegan spread on too & there’s tons of sausage! Served on a large plate with a well presented dressed salad. Hebden Sarnies take note, this is how you do butties simply & well. Can’t believe HS charge £8 for their absolute jokes - Both of these towns are historical towns, tourist traps, with plenty going on. The price difference for the quality I’ve been served is huge. Service here also fab, asking if I wanted extras on my order & checking if everything’s ok! Leaving stuffed & happy,...

This is just a lovely place. The staff were very friendly and polite, and there was no issue bringing in our assistance dog - who was more than accommodated. We bought two "Scrummy Hot Chocolates" and their Beans on Toast with cheese (with scrambled egg, if you ask. Be aware that this is the best tasting scrambled egg ever!). Both were amazing and highly recommended as a light snack. The price was surprising at around £11, which was cheaper than A LOT of places. The atmosphere inside was very eclectic, with local art renders decorating the walls. It was very adorable how the customer WC had a proper little shingled roof on top; bringing an outdoor feel inside. This was just an amazing place to eat and relax from the busy main streets...
