Family-run Nigerian food restaurant with flavourful dishes.
I have walked past many times and the shop looks empty but it actually has a garden seating area that's not visible from the front!
They offers student discounts for mains at £12 instead of £15.
I ordered grilled goat with Jallof rice which came with spicy condiments and fried plantain.
The plantains were amazing! Sweet and caramelised, not oily at all. It's my first time having Jallof rice and it eas tasty! Grilled goat was tender, but I can't say it's juicy as it is on the drier side.
Service is okay and I find the lady at the counter very friendly.

Read moreOrdered takeaway Thursday evening 2019 Goat with red sauce and Jollof rice for £ 8.5 . Overall very good experience and I would order again. The highlight of the dish was the Jillof rice. Very well seasoned with tomato bits and spices, made it very refreshing to finish the rice and the goat. The sauce was rich and the goat meat was tender and well cooked. It's well worth the money and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try African food.
