Tawa Bites — Restaurant in Cambridge

The food is very fresh and the servers were lovely.. We tried a few different things so I'll put a breakdown. The chilli cheese toastie was deliciously spicy but is more like a piece of toast rather than a classic toastie. We also had the Aloo papsi chaat which was very refreshing especially for a hot day or to cool down. The pani puri was a similar vibe and were very snackish, small bombs of Chickpeas and vegetables. We tried the lamb jalfrezi burger and masala chips, both good and the burger was juicy although it could have been a bit spicier. The tangra chicken was yummy, the chicken chunks are large and it all tasted very light and fresh despite being a curry style dish. Overall was a very fun dinner and I'd definitely go again to try more dishes although I wouldn't expect it to be very spicy but maybe that is just the kind of...

Having enjoyed the original Tawa so much in the past I was really looking forward to trying Tawa Bites - and was not disappointed when the occasion finally arose. I had the Gobi Paratha and Mutton Shish Kebab Wrap: both delicious, excellent value, and reasonably portioned.

From the look of it, a good selection of vegetarian options also - and I'm not vegetarian, but I know many so it's nice to be able to recommend it to them (along with everyone else) and know I can take them to lunch there.
