The food was very nice ⭐️ Service was good ⭐️ Clean toilet facilities (top of stairs) ⭐️ Food was served quickly ⭐️ My wife and i really enjoyed Coco Mill, only a couple of things that need tweaking. It's understandable that such a popular place has a large roll over of customers as the night goes on so i guess this can be looked at as a positive and a negative view point, it's the been told you only have half an hr left at your table and then kinda felt we are being forced out and having a staff member settling your bill on their terms...i get it and see they are thinking about new customers ect..so it feels like ok your done guy's now move on. Maybe ask the customer if they would like to move to a cosy area as they will need our table, and we would have most likely had a couple of extra drinks if this approach was implemented.

We came here for tapas today and every dish was delicious! We ordered the crispy halloumi, hoisin duck pancakes, pulled beef & yorkies, cumberland chipolatas & taiwanese popcorn chicken. All dishes were flavourful and were decent portions. We only just had enough room for dessert, apple crumble with custard and sticky toffee pudding. Both delicious! Our friendly waiter with a welcoming manner made sure we had everything we needed. He noticed that I was cold so he turned down the air con without us even needing to ask, which was appreciated. We were seated in the back part of the restaurant which was very cosy! This place has become one of my favourite restaurants in Carlisle! I will definitely return.

I'm afraid I can only give Coco Mill 3 stars. Its a relatively new bar. Its extremely pricey. The cocktail I got last time wasn't very nice but that could just be personal preference. Also the meal I got was a tomatoey pasta dish. It was just a bit bland and repetitive. No sides like garlic bread or anything. And it was more like a soup. And it was supposed to have some meat in but there was next to none. Also the toilets (I understand they are trying to give it a modern shabby kind of outlook) but.. They were like something out of the saw film. Very creepy. Will be back to try something again though as mind might be changed. Not in any rush though.
