First of all I waited over 1 hour for a small tray of donner meat and a bottle of wine ( not a complicated order) so decided to phone up and make a complaint as my younger sister who had fallen asleep hungry waiting for the food to come second of all once I managed to get through to the takeaway it’s self a lady answered with a very ill mannered tone and spoke to me with the upmost disrespect I’ve ever seen I asked why it had taken so long to arrive and she replied that we don’t send orders unless another order comes in around that area so I then replied what if another order didn’t come in around my area would I still be waiting now and shockingly she replied YES! I was appalled by this and her attitude so I told her she had bad customer service skills I then asked to speak to her manager ( very unpleasant gentleman) if that’s what you want to call him! I then asked him the same question would I still be waiting now if another order hadnt came through to my area he also replied yes..still in a bit of shock I said that’s really bad customer service I work in hospitality myself and the level of ignorance was disgusting... also while the lady thought she had placed me on hold (she never) I heard her tell point blank lies about me to her so called “ manager “ she said that I had said she had a stinking attitude ( I didn’t ) and that I complained about the donner meat ( I never ) although the donner meat was stone cold! I didn’t get the chance to say this on the phone as I was so upset and angry about the customer service I had just received I asked the manager what he intended on doing about his colleagues attitude and he said nothing and I asked for her name to leave a review he refused me that (fair enough) I then asked for his name which he then again refused to give me so I then asked again so what is going to be done about the outstandingly appalling delivery, food and customer service he then replied I will sort it and that’s it... I told him I’m going to leave a review about the experience and he then told me to “ do what you have to do I do not care I am busy” so me still in absolute shock replied I will be leaving you a terrible review about this and he then repeated himself in saying do what you have to do I’m busy now goodbye . I am very very disappointed , dissatisfied and in shock as I usually use this place all the time but now can safely say I will NEVER be ordering from ever again.... strongly advise you avoid this place and spend a little extra for better quality and service... pretty sure the lady (girl) I spoke to was underage too!...
Read moreAs a regular customer of Pizza Base, I can say without doubt that every pizza I have ordered has been top notch quality from the freshness of the dough to the succulent taste of the toppings.
However, today has probably been the worst and most bizzare pizza I have ever ordered from Pizza Base... additional toppings i ordered were scarce as one of them was extra cheese but I somehow ended up getting less than usual....
...As shown in the images, you can see that two thin base dough layers were stuck on together to form the pizza which obviously indicates that the dough was not original, you could also tell by the texture of the dough itself when chewing it, some may refute this and say, "well what difference can it possibly make?".... the first and foremost difference is the texture itself which is affected when you stick two dough base layers together which doesn't cause the dough to rise properly when cooked in the pizza oven and it also causes the dough to not be 100% cooked all the way through as parts of the dough were still slightly raw in my case...
Why would a pizza shop do this? My only guess is that the 16 inch normal dough base layer does not sell as well which means they cut a corner and stuck two thin base layers to form a normal dough base layer... but only Pizza Base can confirm that themselves.... highly...
Read moreUsed to be the best place in town been a costumer more than two years order 1-2 minimum a week if not more, and don’t usually complain cus I’m quite picky I thought imma be wrong but! Last 3-4 times I’ve binned half of my pizza because of different reasons once I had half of the pizza just to realise under it the pizza box it’s all dry damp mixed with pizza oil put me right off, messaged the owner he sent me a new one without even asking which I appreciate but that kept happening, and the pizza being doughy it’s a problem needs solving, it seems they don’t care! I wasn’t gon comment either but there’s loads of complaints which means the place needs to get together again:) at the end in my opinion management needs to care more for the staffs and what they need in the place in order for them to get things done right and make less mistakes, sort your phones staff can’t hear properly almost every time and computers too ppl had enough of keep giving address and phone numbers over and over again, if you keep losing your loyal costumers because of little annoying things that keep repeating I assure you your new costumers won’t overlook order mistakes like loyal ones do.
