This place is a wonderful place to relax and read a book or meet up with a friend - the coffee is excellent too. They offer two different kinds of batch brew every day (with a free refill) and they’ve got their oat lattés down to a fine art. Also their hot chocolate is excellent.

The staff here are also great and do a fantastic job. Admittedly, if you’re looking for service drones with fake smiles and a tired script then it might not be right for you. But if, like me, you prefer real genuine human beings who are great at making coffee and who will pause for a chat when they have time, then it’s a great place to be.

Another highlight is the music - instead of the usual tired hits getting piped in because of some lazy head office edict, the staff curate varied and interesting playlists, so you may even leave with some new bands to investigate further!

I rarely ever write and leave bad reviews even back home in Canada- I went here today for the first time and i’m quite disappointed esp with the staffs? Vibe, interior is excellent. It wasn’t even busy at all, i ordered a take away iced decaf latte (which doesn’t take long to make) i waited 14 minutes standing and still didnt see my decaf latte being made while other orders after mine were. They don’t even bother asking what drink I’m waiting for. So i asked if theres decaf latte coming up and the staff doesn’t care- and says it’s coming soon- few minutes later it was made and It was only 3/4 full? The coffee is so so nice! But take it to go… because this is by far the rudest staff I have ever met ever in my life.

I asked for an iced latte and she said they had run out of ice for the day, so i proceeded to ask for an oat cappuccino. They messed up our order and basically put the blame on us, coming to our table and reprimanding us. I felt unwelcome and the vibes were just off. Some of the staff were kind and apologised to us for their coworker’s behaviour.
