I had a meal delivered, and was mostly happy with my meal. There was plenty of choice for vegetarians, which is great. Portions were on the small side, though the wonderful padron peppers - great texture, not scorched, not salty - were generous. The potato gratin was the best I've ever had, and the Spanish omelette had a wonderful texture - dense but not dry or heavy - but no seasoning at all. The mushrooms - very small portion -were tasty. The Andaluz salad was delicious: lots of delicious textures and a tasty dressing. I wasn't a fan of the garlic bread, which was okay but had no real garlic flavour. The aubergine - my favourite veg - was a major disappointment. It comprised three thin slices from the thin end of the aubergine, with no dressing whatsoever, despite its description as having a yogurt and pomegranate dressing. This is ridiculous, since they are charging as much for three tiny slices of aubergine as they are for the much more expensive meat and fish tapas. I often find restaurant food much too salty and/or greasy: the Andaluz dishes I ordered were neither. I'd order from them again, but sad about that aubergine.

Another great visit to Cafe Andaluz Stockbridge for lunch ! We received a warm welcome on arrival from Palesh and despite booking the wrong Cafe Andaluz Restaurant we were quickly shown to our table. Palesh was very patient in explaining all the menu options to us as there are so many available just now, we ended up taking the Eat Out Lunch menu which is great value. We ordered 3 tapas each along a bottle of Cal Y Canto red wine and all were very tasty, hot and flavoursome. We then had Delicia de Chocolate desserts to finish. With tip this all came to £72.54 for 8 tapas dishes and wine which is very good. Palesh was great at explaining everything and we could not fault his care and attention towards us during our visit. We are going back in 4 weeks for a family gathering and looking forward to it already, thanks !

It was really quite busy when we arrived but we were greeted, seated and served quickly. The breakfast menu is interesting and extensive (there's a wide range of coffees but no tea or hot chocolate amongst the hot drinks offerings) and the portions are generous - we were all stuffed afterwards. Although the name features the word "café" the ambience is more restaurant like. It's quite new and the decor is lovely and a bit different for the area (as it's Spanish themed). Our visit did feel a bit like being on holiday even though we live nearby!

I recently visited this restaurant and was initially impressed by its warm and inviting vibe. The decor is thoughtfully done, creating a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere. The service was excellent, with attentive staff making sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. As for the food, most of the dishes were flavorful and satisfying.

However, I was disappointed with the prawn dishes. The texture and taste of the prawns seemed unnatural, reminiscent of seafood treated with chemicals like sodium bisulfite, sodium tripolyphosphate, phosphate and borax. These additives can alter the natural texture and flavor of prawns, and they raise significant health concerns for me. This issue left me feeling uneasy and ultimately detracted from an otherwise pleasant dining experience.

We were here to celebrate family reunion, and the prawn quality made me feel regretful about the experience. While the restaurant excels in ambiance, service, and other dishes, I sincerely hope they take steps to address the quality of their seafood to provide a more trustworthy and safer dining experience for...

I was so disappointed in Cafe Andeluz tonight, as a customer of the restaurant for some years, I have noticed a significant decline in the quality and quantity of food.

I attended the restaurant alongside my friend where we ordered 6 tapas dishes which in the past was more than enough! However, the dishes we ordered were extremely poor not just in quality but quantity.

When ordering a dish at the ten pound mark you expect a certain level of quality. The chicken thighs were unseasoned, bland, small and not only that there were two of them. Prawns were dwarfed by the dish they were served within and again just not up to standard. Black pudding was the saving grace in the meal and was enjoyable, however nothing special. I’m not even going to waste my time critiquing the other dishes.

In conclusion the atmosphere is always vibrant and enjoyable, staff are always relatively helpful and friendly. However to spend this kind of money and leave a restaurant disappointed and still hungry is frustrating and frankly extremely disappointing, don’t waste your time or money go...
