We had a lovely time at Hard Rock, the only very vague negative is that it took a while to order a drink and some food but that was only a negative as we were hungry! They managed to fit us in an hour early than our booked table. Amazing seeing as this was just a few days before Xmas and they were busy. All the staff were lovely, up for a natter and a giggle. The food was exceptional actually. We ate off the festive menu, three courses for £32. We couldn't finish everything as they were good portions. My only advice would be to try and space out the Happy Birthdays, we had three in quick succession just in our area which was a bit disruptive. My partner was, however, very thankful they didn't remember it was his birthday and they didn't make everyone sing to him. All in all Hard Rock was the highlight of our Christmas trip to Edinburgh. Words of advice - please bottle and sell the bbq bourbon sauce we had with the Onion rings..... I'd have paid good money for that on the way out!!!! Thanks Hard Rock team.

Love Hard Rock, and this one was no exception. We visited for our wedding anniversary and had a lovely couple of hours. Our server, Alejandra, was so friendly, very attentive, and very helpful with allergen information to help me make an informed choice. Across the Hard Rock brand the food and drinks are very similar. I have a favourite drink in the 'Electric Blue' while my other half had the 'Hurricane'. He enjoyed it so much he had 2 where as 2nd drink I switched for a 'Purple Haze'. All were delicious. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh and well cooked. The restaurant itself didn't disappoint for rock memorabilia. Being a Friday night I didn't get much opportunity to photograph it this is perfectly understandable. The only thing that let it down was the ladies toilets. They needed a bit more attention. Toilet paper all over the place. All in all a very positive visit and would recommend to anyone visiting/living in Edinburgh.

We visited here for my son's 15th birthday in March. I booked a table for 7 people for late Saturday afternoon. We arrived half an hour early and found our table ready which was fantastic as the weather was poor and everybody in Edinburgh seemed to already be in the restaurant cause of the poor weather. As a family we are huge fans of the Hard Rock Cafe. We have had great meals in the London, Manchester and Glasgow Hard Rock Cafe's and expected the same from Edinburgh. Unfortunately we were left quite disappointed. The restaurant was crammed full - yes that's great but it made the restaurant seem very cramped with little space to walk. The table was under a speaker which made it impossible to hold a conversation with our party let alone the staff when ordering. We love rock music that's why we chose here but it was ridiculous loud. The food arrived but my son's burger had to be chased up. I ordered the haggis burger which looked great but was dry and over cooked. My son's burger was also over done. I should of complained at the time but it was just far too busy. For the price of the food this time I felt was completely over priced for what we got, Burger and chips with very little anything else. The staff were excellent and having worked in a restaurant before myself - hats of to them for working so hard and working in such conditions. But unfortunately we were left very disheartened and disappointed this time as we had travelled down from Inverness specially.

Visited Hard Rock Cafe last night for dinner after attending a comedy show at the Fringe. Have been to various Hard Rock Cafe's over the years, this one has been the most disappointing. We ordered two Kathmando Burgers but we replaced the meat with plant based burgers. The burgers were very bland and didn't live up to the description. When we received our bill it had a total of £112. odds? For two burgers and two red bulls, should have been £48 tops. On questioning the bill and it being corrected we noticed bill still wasn't right, we had been charged an extra £5 on top of our meal for swapping meat burgers for plant based. For the first time we removed the service charge. We didn't find the server very pleasant. Can't say I'll be back in a hurry to the Hard Rock Cafe as there are other restaurants that do a better burger with a better price. Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh doesn't have the same atmosphere as their American counterparts.

Fantastic! I've never been before o a hard rock cafe, but I'll be going back. The food was incredible; full of flavour and cooked to perfection the food was timely and filling. My only complaint was that I couldn't eat anymore and I wanted too! The staff were top class, polite friendly and ready to help l, but they were never overbearing. I ended up buying my glass, which seemed a little odd at first but I loved it so much I fell into the franchise. They offer much more than glasses, like t-shirts and other tops, but a glass was enough for me. If you love rock music and food, this is the place to be. The decor is great and full of memorabilia and whole rock music plays nicely in the back ground for a good ambience. (You can request music as well). It's not the cheapest place you can go, but it's worth every penny, and you'll love everything about it.

Came here on a Tuesday night and had a lovely time. We had the gold menu through buying it on virgin experience and I have to say that the burger was really juicy and delicious. I had a hurricane cocktail and opted to get the one that included getting a glass, lucky for me it was huge and well worth the money. They have a Fred Durst cap in there which made me happy. James, our waiter was very attentive and an all round lovely guy, especially having to put up with my husbands random questions. John went above and beyond to help us out with the local area and was really nice. To top it off, we happened to be in the right place at the right time as they had live music who was a soloist on acoustic guitar and he had a really good voice. Really recommend this place based on food and service.
