Pretty good! I wasn't impressed but to be honest, a lot of the food around these parts just aren't as good as I'm used to in the States. Especially in California. So my standards might be higher than normal for here but I've got many friends from around my parts and who've traveled around the world who are here right now and the consensus is that the food generally isn't great in Scotland. Sorry. Just being honest. It's best for my review to say all this. So to find a place we enjoyed was something special whereas where I'm from, it's effortless. Expected even. Many places lack flavor. Things could be cooked better but the meat here was good and you cook it yourself! Service was acceptable. Could have been a little better for sure but no big complaints. Slow to bring the portions which were all you can eat. Too often came to change out the hot plate. Never asked for refills on the sides. It was a good experience overall but I wouldn't say it was great. It was what I'd expect at the least for the cost but I suppose for my dining experiences so far, it was pretty good relatively in Scotland. Again, no offense but Scotland isn't known for its amazing food like Italy or Japan. And I only say this to put my preference into perspective.

The food is delicious, the service is excellent and they pay attention to every detail. All the staff are lovely. The atmosphere is good and the decoration is cute. Everything is good and worth the price.

It’s my second time coming to this place. The staffs are very polite and welcoming. Foods are delicious and authentic. Every order seems to come with 2-3 tasty side dish. During my first visit, I believe I had the BBQ set B (the one that mainly comes with beef). I must say the meat portions are excellent, worth the price. I was solo but as a Korean BBQ lover, I ate it all. 😂 This time around, I decided to have the Beef Bibimbap and ordered additional Kimchi even though my order already comes with some vegetable side dish. Then I asked to have the Japchae (stir-fried glass noodles). I appreciate the staff informing me the portion is good for sharing 2-3 people. She was concerned I might be ordering too much (which I am aware of) but I reassured her it is okay and I will just take it home if I won’t be able to eat it all. Then we were just all giggling about it when they served my orders while the customers on the other tables are confused or astonished. It was fun! 😂 (PS: they provided a plastic tupperware for my take home Japchae thank you!) I want to try the beef stew next time I am going to visit! ❤️

Before coming to this restaurant, I read the Google reviews and I had a recommendation from my sister-in-law who’s super into food!! So this MUST be a great place!!

Well, I suggested to my friend who hasn’t had Korean BBQ before, let’s try this one, as my first Korean BBQ was Onggie and I had a great time there! So I have some novice experience!

For my friend’s sake, I’ll keep it to a minimal comment, as she enjoyed the experience so much... 🙄

They have a good selection of Korean dishes.

The customer service was super friendly and approachable.

My friend really found their mannerism very cute and lovely.

Their interior was a standard one. I have to say it reminded me of a Chinese restaurant than a Korean one.

Despite I wrote their customer service is approachable and friendly, they didn’t really ask us if we needed an introduction on how to use the Korean BBQ grill. I thought they assume I would know what to do. Which to me, that damper my experience to enjoy a little bit.

I mean, I can cook in general, but not asking if I know how to BBQ, out of assumption that I know, is a little bit rude since they already given us an introduction of what Korean BBQ is, and then, they left us to figure out what each of the dishes were and how long to cook it for. So I had to ask another waitress to make sure I have the right idea on how to cook certain meats and seafood.

And I was surprised that the price was a little bit higher, just a few pounds really. I’ve had much more nicer food in Hong Kong so comparing to this, it isn’t too bad.

JUST A WEE NOTE: If you’re looking for more authentic Korean service and people, I would suggest ONGGIE. They are literally on the...

We have been regular customers for years, eat out or take away, around twice per month. The food quality has declined and become very salty. But still okay. So we have been holding off in giving a bad review for sometimes now. However recent few take away experiences were very bad. We always order at least 2 portions of bbq meats, and the veggies sides are always free for both eat in and take away.

However the previous take away, they “unintentionally” gave us one less veggie side and missed the sauces as well. And the rice was undercooked! And we thought “fine, everyone makes mistakes”, so we give chances and we let that go.

But the most recent take away they told us they charge 3.5ÂŁ for the veggie sides no matter how many portions of meat you buy. It is quite ridiculous because when you eat in, you get the veggie sides free and can even refill the veggie one time for free. So when you take away, you not using the bbq equipment and all, not able to refill veggie and then they charge extra for veggie????

Even when eat in, the limitation on veggie refills to one time regardless the meat portions you order is quite ridiculous. So imagine if you and friends sit 2 separate tables and order 1 bbq meat per table, you will get 2 refills, 1 per table. Whereas if you all sit together, you got 1 refill. So I would suggest ppl to just split the tables then as the shop is quite small and you will be quite near to your friends.

That will be the last time we eat from this shop. There are other Korean bbq...
