I've visited Bella Italia a couple of times, & really enjoyed the food, They have a nice choice of starters, mains, & desserts in Italian style, my daughter loves the Lasagne, & the Tiramisu dessert. My favourite is the Mushroom Al-Forno starter, but all the dishes look nice. The service has always been good, friendly, & polite, with food served in a reasonable time, (NOT microwaved !) To be honest I have only eaten there when there is an offer, as I don't have much spare money, sign for the app, or mailing list, & you can know when offers are available. The seating & decoration are comfortable, & attractive. The location is right next to the Belgrade theatre, & a good quality car park. I would eat here more often If I had reason to, it is a lovely , tasty, filling meal out ! So I highly recommend it.

Went here for dinner and I must say, this place has excellent service. My server Andre was wonderful. The food and drinks came out very quickly. The drinks were tasty and big so need for a second cocktail wasn’t necessarry. I opted to have the set 3-course menu, for my starter I chose the Mushroom dish, my main was the pomodoro pasta and the tiramisu for dessert. The mushroom dish was tasty but lacked flavor. The sauce that it came with was watery which made it slightly unpleasant. The pomodoro pasta was very bland and also watery which also made it unpleasant. Dessert was delicious, not too appealing to the eye but it was delicious. My companion who dined with me also had similar views, savory dishes lacking flavor but a delicious dessert.

I have nothing bad to say at all about the people and the restaurant itself, very cozy and nice. Thing is the carbonara is quite a tricky pasta to make and here(as in so many restaurant in italy!), they serve a version that is different from what you'd get from a proper Italian restaurant. If I can suggest improvements, it would be NOT to add cream( im sure there was in this) and choose a brand of pancetta that is less salty than what they have(ideally a slightly smoked one). Pasta was well cooked, not al dente but not overcooked either. The carbonara has to be a visual mix of the strong yellow colour of the egg yolks and the dark red of the pancetta, the use of cream makes it a milky mess that its still tasty but not what it should be.

My friend and I met here for a dinner catch up. We really enjoyed all the food we ordered. I ordered the new Cacio E Pepe from seeing the advertisement on the table. It was very tasty and a good size portion. I took half home because I couldn't finish it. I also ordered the Dough Balls appetizer which I enjoyed.. The staff here were very friendly and not pushy. They let us take our time and it was a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. From my experience, I will definitely return to this restaurant when Italian is on my mind! Parking was easy as well. There is a "Belgrade theatre' parking structure just there, and it only cost me £1.50 for the entire Sunday!!!

I do realise that this is a chain restaurant, and very casual, but I would have expected more from their pizza, which I felt was very much average, which, it pains me to say, reminded me more of a frozen pizza bought from the supermarket, than of a freshly baked pizza in an Italian eatery. The only saving grace was the Tiramisu I had for dessert, which I really liked. But it wasn't quite enough to make the whole experience a satisfactory one. Service was ok, though not great. Again, average, I guess. We had chosen the restaurant for a pre-show dinner because of its proximity to the Belgrade Theatre, which may have been a mistake.

It's a nice place with tasty food. However the portions are small. We ordered 3 course set menu. Bruschetta Pomodoro was nice but it was extremely solid (more than it should have been) which made it hard to eat. I really enjoyed Pollo Cacciatore, it was very delicious especially onion and mushroom were cooked very well. I wasn't really a fan of Ragu D'antra, I found it overly cooked and didn't really really liked the combination of duck and pecorino cheese with pasta. For an Italian place their tiramisu is really horrible, but their wine selection is good. Overall I was satisfied but didn't made a big impact as I hoped.
