Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered this via UberEats based on a recommendation who āate inā. The price of the delivery was extortionate in comparison to the eat-in price. I was told that 2 people were over-fed in the restaurant for Ā£20, yet from UberEats, 2 mains and a side with delivery and Using UberOne was over Ā£30. When the food came, everything was cold: STONE COLD. Iām not being pedantic, it wasnāt even remotely warm, and for any restaurant less than 2 miles away, itās not really acceptable at all. So 2 mins in the microwave per person it was! The taste and quality of the food was incredible. Spice. Flavour. Texture. New things. But if Iām honest, when youāre hungry, Ā£20 worth of big standard food from any 3 star Chinese or Indian, delivered hot, and to feed 2 or more would be far more substantial than this. My advice, donāt order it for delivery. They arenāt prepared enough to meet the demand and the mark-up they must be making is honestly borderline robbery. But, if youāre in the city centre, you can visit; try something new; and get an abundance of flavour on a budget. A shame really because Sri Lankan food isnāt popular in the city and from what I tasted, it could be. I wouldnāt order again for delivery, but Iād definitely visit the restaurant for a...
