Ordered this via UberEats based on a recommendation who ‘ate in’. The price of the delivery was extortionate in comparison to the eat-in price. I was told that 2 people were over-fed in the restaurant for £20, yet from UberEats, 2 mains and a side with delivery and Using UberOne was over £30. When the food came, everything was cold: STONE COLD. I’m not being pedantic, it wasn’t even remotely warm, and for any restaurant less than 2 miles away, it’s not really acceptable at all. So 2 mins in the microwave per person it was! The taste and quality of the food was incredible. Spice. Flavour. Texture. New things. But if I’m honest, when you’re hungry, £20 worth of big standard food from any 3 star Chinese or Indian, delivered hot, and to feed 2 or more would be far more substantial than this. My advice, don’t order it for delivery. They aren’t prepared enough to meet the demand and the mark-up they must be making is honestly borderline robbery. But, if you’re in the city centre, you can visit; try something new; and get an abundance of flavour on a budget.
