Five guys
This is a chain Of US restaurantās Like Burger King.
And they found a way in to the UK there is Coventry five guys located near The Godiva statue.
After first walking in the place your hit with the smell of Greece from the cooker. End music that is played it is too loud volume.
So not recommended for people who struggle with Sensory issues.
The layout of the dining area I can see They went for Something that closely represents the 1950s diner experience with itās red and white tiled walls. The table and chairs are uncomfortable to sit in however it was normal for fast food places.
I ordered for classic cheeseburger, which you collect yourself like in McDonaldās waiting for your number.
you are given a brown paper bag. Containing your food.
For burgers it was wrapped up in tinfoil thereās no other stuff containing it outside packaging like you do with McDonaldās or Burger King. And a large cup of chips, your drinks are refillable.
I feel like itās a common thing in American restaurants to wrap up your burger in tinfoil from what Iāve seen from the TV and pop culture.
But as you can imagine it just proved to be a messy and uncomfortable experience trying to contain the Burger so it doesnāt touch the Table In between bites.
Again the same similar type of stuff with a cup of chips are made it hard to eat and take breaks in between bites. It just proves to be annoying and made it feel like it was difficult. on top of the pre-mention noises from both the loud radio music and the kitchen. Makes for an in non-enjoyable atmosphere to eat your food.
burger itself self I will give 2 stars, Iām taste and texture alone. It wasnāt anything to get excited. About. The meat tasted dry and most of the taste of came from the gherkins, cheese and the thick bread on top For the chips I had a flaming hot flavoured which were alright I had some flavour and I will cook nice.
However that doesnāt make up for the rest of the meal and experience.
I donāt understand the obsession with Five Guys I would rather have a McDonaldās or Burger King.
I will give this 2 1/2 stars for the whole...

Little Bacon Burger (Ā£6.75) Little Fries (Ā£2.75)
Verdict: Overrated & overpriced is all I can say. The burger was greasy and sloppy, and the whole experience got worst as I started to chomp on the fries (the sick feeling you get from oily food) š© It was honestly one of the lousiest burgers Iāve had - this might spark controversy as I know many people are huge fans of Five Guys, but this is based on my personal taste and experience š„“ There was nothing special to the burger, in fact the whole experience felt like another ātypical American fast-food chainā BUT at a higher price šµ
Pros: The menu at Five Guys is short and sweet, with only a few choices of burgers (regular and veggie), hot dogs or grilled cheese sandwiches. Burgers come in two sizes: regular, which has two fresh ground beef patties, or "little", which has only one patty. Both the burgers and hot dogs can also be ordered with bacon and/or cheese. You can seriously have it your way at Five Guys, because they offer 15 different toppings to choose from, which attracted me as I have control over the outcome of my burger š
Everything is made fresh to order. You wonāt find a freezer in any Five Guys because everything is cooked fresh from scratch. Their potatoes are hand cut-daily and youāll know exactly where theyāve come from because they put it on posters on the walls. Mine were from Suffolk, UK, Lodge Farm š„ All their fries come with an extra scoop in the bag, so donāt be fooled by with word ālittleā because they do them by...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEDIT: 5 guys speedily replied to my review. They defended the burger - we don't season it... we let the flavour of the burger etc - that's fair, people seem to like it.
They admitted the saltiness of the fries seemed wrong. They have kindly given me a voucher for another portion of the said fries.
Excellent customer service. End of edit.
I live in The Sticks and I haven't had the opportunity, until a weekend in Coventry, to have a goal of eating there. The walls of the restaurant are festooned with glowing reports of their burgers: this seems to be the consensus. I eat burgers once maybe twice a year - I thoroughly enjoy them.
I ordered: Bacon burger with grilled onion and mayo with salted chips.
Oh what a disappointment! Where was the taste? There was little if any. Of course I'm not a fool and didn't expect the burger to look like an advertisement for a burger... and this one was no exception. The chips were ludicrously oversalted (IMHO). I didn't finish the burger and ate half the chips - context I had run a half-marathon in the morning and it wasn't lack of appetite at 12.30pm when I ate.
Again it wasn't awful in the too cold or not cooked or not freshly made way... just bland (burger) salt (chips).
I also had a banana milkshake - no problem their.
£10+ for a burger? £5+ for chips?
Perhaps that's OK now. I'm an old bloke What do I know?
Staff: fine Place was...
