Greggs — Restaurant in Coventry

It is situated on a busy retail site and there may be times when you may have to wait for a particular item. I have never had an issue and have always found the staff pleasant and helpful. I dislike the negative comments on here and think we now live in an age where people need instant gratification. If I had received an item that was overcooked as someone complained about I would ask for it to be exchanged. The manager here,Lissa, I think is very positive and is always welcoming. Staff being trained is something that happens in all businesses and we have all been there. Patience is a virtue. We live in an age where people are quick to complain but reluctant to give praise. Negative feedback doesn't need to be nasty - some people can't help themselves.

My wife and I like Greg's and the Alvis site is our favourite. Keep up the good work...

(Sunday morning opening time) - Nievely returned again for a breakfast deal Sunday morning at opening time. Bacon and sausage was available, but they had ran out of milk for the hot drinks. Settled for soy milk just so I could get on my way. 2 trips now, and there's always an issue, things missing or not available. Does Gregg's even care about this store? Or are they just in the real estate business these days, stores are just a front for the business.

Terrible, wrongly labelled food was very misleading. Ordered food, 1 sausage roll and a bacon and sausage roll. Paid and left. Only when I got to the car I realised they had forgotten to give me the sausage roll and the breakfast roll was that bad I threw it straight into the bin! Everything was burnt beyond recognition. The queue was that big and staff so miserable I decided not to complain but to leave you the worst review I have ever left any company. To top it off this was a birthday treat for my 12 yo.
