Istanbul Restaurant — Restaurant in Coventry

I have been a long term fan of this restaurant but after today my opinion has completely changed… visiting with a group of friends a young lady began to take our order we ordered 2 king size chicken kebabs plain no salad and no chilli sauce due to allergies and dietary requirements… after 30 minutes our food is brought over and what a shock both have chilli sauce and salad we told them and they were abit reluctant to change but eventually they did… we then can see the staff member empty the chicken from the plate into a tray and begin to wash the chicken in the sink then proceed to reheat on the grill(I’m still shocked writing this as was the gentlemen sat on the table next to us) we called they staff member out on this and he straight away knew what he was doing was wrong… Guys if you value your health and well being please AVOID this restaurant as they are more bothered about a quick earner than the health and well being of...

Ordered a large order as I do every week at 6.18pm and was told it would be 40 mins to 1 hour as always no problem but I still had no food at 7.55pm to which my partner called and was told sorry it will be 10 minutes. No food still at 8.10pm so I called and asked the question where is food and he said sorry we are very busy but I questioned that the numbers don’t work out as it’s been two hours and you would of had to have 1000 calls to prevent me not getting my food he said no we had hundreds to which I said if I was told that long I would go elsewhere he had nothing to say. My food turned up at 8,35pm cold hard chips an extra rubber tasting burger and food that was either cold or not fit to eat. I didn’t even bother wasting my time to call again but I guarantee you although 30 pound a week is nothing to them I won’t be ever going there again. I waited an hour and a half for my meal from here. When phoning to chase where it was, I was told that my food had just left the restaurant and they had been busy. But it was on the way and I wouldn't be charged delivery. The delivery driver phoned to say he was at my house, when he wasn't. He proceeded to say it's a flat. I said no. And gave my address again. When the food turned up it was cold and certainly didn't look like what I had ordered. It looked like a tray of dog food. And smelt awful. I paid £20 to throw my food in the bin. When phoning Istanbul to log my complaint. All the man said was sorry about that! And didn't give a damn that my partner informed him we would be leaving a bad review! He simply didn't care! Worst place I have ever ordered from and certainly won't be ordering from there again!...
