Mixed feelings on this place. It's great to see a venue where coventry supporters can go and bask in some nostalgia and it's really well decorated and fitted with images and memorabilia from across the decades.

The food is really nice and portions are certainly enough to leave you satisfied. The drinks are well made and poured... The staff are friendly and clearly competent at their jobs.

So why 3 stars? Well I have docked two stars because I feel the website is misleading. The 'what's on' page shows when cov games are on and features the sky blue tavern logo above it. To me this gives the impression that they are showing the game in some capacity so my wife thought it would be nice to book us a booth at Christmas so we could eat some food, have some drink and watch the game, a lovely idea. The reality is that this venue doesn't have the ability to show a game because iFollow doesn't yet support commercial businesses such as pubs, which is understandable but not something we were made aware of till we were already there. That's one star lost.

The second star is gone because they could instead play the radio so people could hear the live coverage, this is something as a licence that is easy to obtain. While the music is good, I was there for the football and dissapointed that there was no way to see or...

My recent visit to Sky Blue Tavern on November 19, a Sunday, was an absolute delight. I was there from 8 am to 4 pm to catch the India vs. Australia Cricket World Cup match, and the ambiance was electric. The restaurant was buzzing with cricket fans, and the energy was contagious.

But the true star of the show was the food. I started my day with a hearty desi breakfast, which was simply scrumptious. The flavors were authentic, the portions were generous, and the presentation was impeccable. For lunch, I indulged in a feast of keema curry, mix grill, mushroom fried rice, and cheese onion naan. Each dish was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and aroma.

But what truly elevated my dining experience was the exceptional customer service provided by Jay. He was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He went the extra mile to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.

Overall, my visit to Sky Blue Tavern was a resounding success. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the customer service was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic taste of desi cuisine or a lively spot to catch a cricket and football match . I will definitely be...

Wouldn’t advise anyone going here let’s just start of In the kitchen there’s a rat running around in there and they haven’t really done anything about it Because it’s just one rat in there also the beer pipes are (dirty) awful as an experienced bar man I’ve learnt that beer pipes should be cleaned every week once a week, as for here they’ll sometimes go 2 or sometimes 3weeks without cleaning there beer pipes. And also let’s talk about the glass washer how they never get drained and cleaned every night and there even isn’t any dishwasher cleaner in the glass washer due to that the glasses are always smelling and never actually spotless, and also most of the stock they have has been out of date from a year or 2 ago as for instance the red wines most of them are out of date the syrups for the cocktails are but you know when I appointed that the bar wines and syrups are out of date Dave just told me to put them back. But uno every Bar General manager has his own ways of keeping a bar and kitchen cleanliness to a standard but in this case it’s not kept...

What a great place. Excellent decoration and amazing beer choice - and I'm not a Sky Blues Fan. This place puts my local town to shame! Came here on my own for dinner as staying on a work trip. For the majority of my visit the place was empty, which was a shame as you can imagine a real buzz when sport is on and lots of people are there. I wanted to try a bit of everything so ordered the chicken thali, it was excellent value for money. The curry's were very good and there was a lot of chicken in both portions. The dhal was tasty, and roti was nice. I was slightly disappointed that I only got half a Pappadom, and the Raita was just plain yogurt, but those are minor things and I couldn't eat it all anyway! Service was a bit slow in that I had to go up and ask for something everytime I wanted something and there were 3 people working. But overall a good experience and would return for drinks and food, so highly recommed.

I have a few things that wasn't the best... when making a reservation you can pick where you would like to sit, that was a waste of time because I didn't get yhe seat I asked for.. The food came really quick I was abit over whelmed usually ime use yo getting my starter of poppadoms 1st while I waited but after sitting fir 5 mins everything came to the table together. Considering the sizzler is there signature dish and what we was told to try I wasn't impressed. The skillet wasn't sizzling I could put my fingers on it as the picture shows the onions stayed raw but the chicken was tasty and it melted in your mouth personally disappointed with that.. we also had chicken tikka masala that was amazing I really enjoyed the curry, there was more than enough rice aswell in 1 portion for two people to share.. I will go again it was a great place not expensive but I will stick to the curry
