I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aqua Food & Mood, and the experience was good. The staff were incredibly welcoming guiding me through the menu with genuine enthusiasm. The food itself was a revelation; the amazing lamb shank was massive in portion, the rice full of flavours from the meat and salad on the side. However, 2 small details left me scratching my head. 1st - I decided to try one of their drinks that was advertised as a classic cola. While it was a refreshing and unique drink, the price was quite steep £5.50 X 2 = £11 ( Agave coca cola). It wasn't bad, but it simply wasn't worth the premium price tag. For a drink that didn't taste like the version of a store-brand cola, it felt like a significant overcharge compared to the value of the other exceptional items on the menu. If it was in London I would of said yes ok but even so in London prices for drinks do match the quantity. 2nd - Before my visit, I had booked a table and was sent a menu. I had planned my meal based on this, with the main course I wanted listed at £22.95. When I arrived, the menu at my table showed the same dish for £28.95. This is a considerable price jump and felt misleading, especially since I was not informed of the change beforehand. I mean for the portion and flavours and literally how great the food tasted, it was worth it though. Overall, I would recommend Aqua Food & Mood for its delicious food. Just be mindful of the drink prices. Stick with the incredible food, and you'll have a great night.

The food was good - we ordered several of the small plates which filled us up well. The drinks were great - we got the 51 cola which was really good. We would recommend the cherry flavour. My partner asked if they could make a strawberry milkshake - which wasn't on the menu - and they did, which was extremely lovely of them. I wasn't a big fan of the hummus and the lamb fried rice which are the only reasons for not giving them a 5 star on food. The atmosphere was great. The shisha area seemed to have really good music playing. The service was both great and not so great. Wiktoria was awesome - she was friendly, gave great recommendations and truly showed she cared throughout our time there. She was very charismatic which is always a pleasant experience to have with a waitress. The food arrived promptly and was presented wonderfully. The reasons I didn't give service a 5 star is because my glass had a big crack on it which could have been fatal had I not realised. Two of our dishes didn't arrive until questioned. There was another waiter who repeatedly asked my partner and I to review the food and service out of 10 which was a little overwhelming and uncomfortable. There was also a miscommunication with our order and we were given something slightly different to what we asked for ; this was handled in a confusing manner. Overall, this hasn't put me off going again. I've been multiple times before and I assume this was a one off incident.

Beautiful Lebanese food all cooked from scratch (open kitchen). Family run business and local Coventry owners so well worth supporting a small business. Went here for Staff Christmas meal (we're teachers). It's a dry bar here so if you're looking to wine with your dine it may not be for you but you will miss out on absolutely gorgeous food. After pouring over the menu we asked the waiter for recommendations and he suggested the Mezza set meals which we ended up getting for 7 of our party. Two beautiful platters. One starters, one a mixed grill. The pictures are for 2 people but they upscaled it easily for 3. Set menu also included Baklava but as a few of us were so stuffed by this point the owner made a special dessert of ice cream, cream, pistachio sauce and honey. Amazing! Been a long time since I've had food this tasty. Highly recommended.

I was genuinely excited to try Aqua Food and Mood, especially given my love for Lebanese cuisine. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I anticipated.

Upon arrival, the ambiance seemed promising – a nice blend of modern decor with traditional elements. However, the service was where things began to unravel. We waited an unusually long time to be seated, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. Once seated, our server seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, which set the tone for the evening.

As for the food, it was a major letdown. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the hummus, tabbouleh, and a mixed grill platter. The hummus was bland and lacked the creamy texture that makes it a staple of Lebanese cuisine. The tabbouleh was more like parsley with a sprinkle of bulgur – it lacked flavor and freshness. The mixed grill was also disappointing; the meat was overcooked and dry, rendering it nearly inedible.

To top things off, our meal was marred by a long wait for our drinks and dessert, which further soured the experience. The lack of attention to detail and quality of the food led me to believe that this restaurant may not take the pride in its offerings that true Lebanese cuisine deserves.

Overall, my experience at Aqua Food and Mood was disheartening. With so many wonderful Lebanese restaurants out there, this one didn’t live up to the hype. I left feeling unsatisfied and regretful for choosing this place. Unfortunately, I won’t...
