Tasty greek corner — Restaurant in Coventry

Went here tonight with my partner’s 2 20 something boys. We all love Greek food and had heard rumours this place was the naz. It smelled great from the outside with the smoke coming from the chimney so all seemed promising.

We ordered a lot of everything being our first time including a Greek salad and grilled halloumi for my pisci partner.

It was all delicious, very fresh and had THAT char/bbq taste everyone craves. Portions were generous and there’s enough for a good bedtime munch too.

There’s no criticism over what we had. The food and service was great, the lass knew her her stuff and grumpy cook was a grumpy cook lol. If anything I’d suggest a whole fish option perhaps but that’s pure nitpicking.

We’ll happily return, it’s a refreshing change to the usual friday takeaway options and that’s really good. Well done Tasty...

So to start with the food was delicious and full of flavour! I got the mixed meat gyro to take away. It was fairly priced so no complaints there.

The chips were slightly undercooked and the takeaway bag I was given had a rip in it, so my food was cold in the 10-15mins it took me to walk home.

I took about 10mins before I was served or even greeted despite being the only person waiting to be served, the lady kept looking at me but I guess she didn’t feel like saying hi. Oh well. Good...

My first time to eat from this establishment and was very pleased with the food and how fresh it was! We had 2 Chicken Souvlaki and 1 Lamb Souvlaki which was really tatsy. The food was definitley worth the money, the Souvlaki comes with seasoned fries which is a great pairing. The Garlic mayo dips are made in-house so would recommend giving that a try with the fries!!
