Rebels Coffee and Sauna — Restaurant in Dover

One of the most enjoyable conversations I've had in a long time was with the brilliant lad Patrick who works here - what an impressive character he is! This is a great place to get coffee in Dover, right by the sea front, you can even nip in the sauna attached (it's built into a former public restrooms) and then when you're too hot you can use the plunge bath or run into the sea! They also sell second hand records. There's no reason to ever leave!...

Excellent discovery. Friendly atmosphere. Chatting with the owner, and two customers, one of whom had also discovered for the first time. Great service. The best cheese toasty ever, large and overflowing with cheese!! Next time I want to try the cheese and kimchi version. The small cafe also has a sauna, great for cold wet days when you need more than just coffee. Note; just discovered that toasties are not served after 17:30, although...

A great little place down on the prom, found visiting from London for the weekend. SUPERB coffee and treats, with the added bonus of a sauna; how cool is that?! We spent an hour dipping in the sea, then running into the clean and spacious sauna three times. There's a plunge pool too, if you do not fancy the actual sea.
