My visit to An Najeeb Restaurant on London Road in Leicester was nothing short of an extraordinary culinary journey. The restaurant's reputation for serving authentic South Asian cuisine drew me in, and I left with a heart full of satisfaction and delight. The moment I walked in, the aroma of spices and sizzling dishes enveloped me, setting the stage for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal. The star of the show was undoubtedly the kebab, which was nothing short of perfection. The succulent meat, expertly marinated and grilled, was a true testament to the skill and expertise of the chefs. The South Asian flavors were rich and layered, evoking memories of homemade meals and cherished traditions. Every dish I tried was a symphony of tastes, and it was clear that the ingredients were of the highest quality. The spices were balanced to perfection, enhancing the overall experience without overpowering the palate. One of the standout features of An Najeeb Restaurant was the affordability. Despite the top-notch quality of the food, the prices were incredibly reasonable, making it accessible to a wide range of patrons. This combination of quality and value was truly commendable. The service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The staff members went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was flawless, and their genuine warmth added a personal touch to the visit. The restaurant's inviting and comfortable ambiance added to the overall positive experience. Whether you're dining with friends, family, or solo, An Najeeb Restaurant provides a welcoming environment where you can enjoy exceptional food in a relaxed setting. In conclusion, my experience at An Najeeb Restaurant on London Road in Leicester was outstanding. From the delectable kebabs and authentic South Asian flavors to the affordable prices and excellent service, every aspect of the visit left a lasting impression. If you're a fan of exquisite South Asian cuisine and are looking for a dining experience that checks all the boxes, An Najeeb Restaurant is an absolute must-visit.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at An Najeeb with my cousin, and I am thrilled to share our wonderful experience. The real star of the meal was the Desi Tawa - an absolutely delicious dish that captivated our taste buds. Its rich, authentic flavors and perfect seasoning made it stand out as a culinary masterpiece, highlighting the restaurant's expertise in crafting traditional dishes with a modern twist. Alongside the meal, we enjoyed a delightful Strawberry Mocktail. Its refreshing taste was greatly appreciated, complementing the robust flavors of the Desi Tawa beautifully. It was a fantastic addition to our meal, but the Desi Tawa remained the unrivaled highlight of our dining experience. Adding to our positive experience was the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Aisha. Her politeness, efficiency, and attention to detail were commendable. She provided excellent service, ensuring that our dining experience was comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. In conclusion, An Najeeb is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food and service. The Desi Tawa, in particular, is a dish not to be missed, and the attentive service, especially from Aisha, makes the dining experience truly special. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning soon.

Visited on 22nd September with the family. On first impressions the establishment doesn’t look like a restaurant & the only way you’ll know you’re at the right place is by the name on the building, it looks like some weird community hall & it only gets worse when you go inside, the best way to describe the interior again is like a large cold community hall, the decor is the worst I’ve ever seen in my life for a “restaurant” and feels like it hasn’t been changed since the mid 90’s, you have old and knackered seating booths & hard worn out wooden tables, the colour scheme makes you feel like you’re tripping out, the ceiling Is copper mirror effect, the booths are bright green, the decor on a whole is mismatched and stuck 50 years behind in time, definitely not a grand restaurant or a place with nice ambience, something which was also really really bad to see is that they give you plastic disposable cups on the table, very We ordered a lot of food including grilled king prawns, chicken 65, chilli chicken, lamb lal Maas, Punjabi chicken curry, paneer masala naans, rices & chicken noodles, the food came out within 10 minutes which straightaway let us know that it’s pre-cooked and reheated which is a big red flag already. The Punjabi chicken was our least favourite dish and this was recommended by the owner or manager I believe, it tasted like old chicken tikka in a super spice pungent curry with no salt and dripping in oil, the chicken itself had that hard reheated chicken taste and texture. The dishes which we did enjoy the most was grilled king prawns & panner Masala, everything else was just average. The food presentation was nice but unfortunately the biggest let downs were decor, restaurant ambience & food, the service was polite & attentive that’s why I’m not giving it less than 3 stars.

Been here on a number of occasions previously, this occasion ordered a desi tawa for 3 people The tawa contained 3 lamb chops, 3 chicken wings, 3 or 4 chicken tikka pieces, 3 sheesh kebabs, chicken curry, lamb curry, fries, boiled rice and 3 naan/roti The lamb curry tasted lovely, full of flavour but the downside was it seemed there was more bones than meat, mixed grill was far to oily and the sheesh kebabs have shrunk compared to previous visits, basically the width of my nail and the size of my middle finger as you can see in one of the pictures, chicken curry was bland and tasteless and to top it off there was far to much fries and boiled rice compared to curries. Alot of the tawa space gets taken up by carbs. Basically left the place still hungry as the portion sizes have drastically gone smaller to all previous visits and tasted well different... So all in all was very disappointed to say the least... Finally it was like we was being rushed to finnish eating our food, so they can seat other customers...

Food: The restaurant menu is southasian/oriental food, with most flavours mainly influenced by south asian cuisine. Presentation of the platter which was the size of the table was unique (please see image), and can serve upto 4 people. The flavours of the curries were very authentic and rich. Atmosphere: the restaurant was fully booked, we just about managed to get a table (i would recommend prebooking to avoid disappointment). There are several booths with curtains for privacy if required, the restaurant probably sits approx 60-80 people and is HMC approved. The restaurant is great for a family meal out. Location: on a main road, close to leicester train station Parking: there is a side road (de montford street) where you can park on the street, at the time of this review it was priced £1 for 2hrs or £2 for 3hrs
