Placed an order on New Yearâs Eve via just eat that was accepted, now I understand that New Yearâs Eve is a busy time and there for was prepared for the wait.
2.5 hours later no sign of the food, just eats website prompts you to call the restaurant, the number was engaged non stop for another 45 minutes with no way of contacting them, eventually the number rang but went to answer phone, it was only when I was leaving an angry message that someone picked up half way through. Upon speaking to the person there I explained my situation and he just asked what I wanted him to do? I asked if my food was coming and he said no, bare in mind on just eat it said my food was delivered where the person in the restaurant said no it has definitely not been delivered in a mocking tone.
I then asked if I could have a refund as it is now 10pm on New Yearâs Eve and Iâve been waiting 3 hours for my food, he said yes thatâs fine. Sums up 2020 really.

Read moreWhere shall I start?! Starters were alright . For main course, ordered a white fish bhoona, fish were overcooked, very dry and chewy. I cut open a piece of fish, tried to see what's inside, there was hardly any flesh there. Then showed it to the waiter. These...
